General Announcements
*It is that time of the year again, our annual homecoming flag football tournament. Please get a team together, between 6 and 10 players and come sign up in the attendance/ activities office. You have until September 5th to sign up and space is limited. You are guaranteed to play 3 games on Saturday September 7th with the possibility to play on Wednesday, September 11th.
* Seniors! Herff Jones will be at AHS, in the Bubble Entrance, on Friday, September 6th, from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm to take orders for graduation announcements, souvenir tassels, senior apparel, and much more! If you are also interested in ordering a class ring or letter jacket, they will have sizers available to try on and will be able to take your order for those as well.
Athletics
*AHS Girls Volleyball hosts this year’s ARAPAHOE vs. Heritage volleyball game this Tuesday September 3rd in Sitting Eagle Gymnasium! Games start at 4:30, Varsity plays at 6:30. Come out to support your Warriors!
*Unified Kickball - the first home Unified kickball game is on Wednesday, September 4th at 4:00pm. The Unified Team will be playing our own AHS Warriors Boys Baseball team. Come cheer on our players! If anyone is interested in joining Unified Sports as a player or peer partner please contact Mrs. Abner asap.
*AHS Football - Come Cheer on your Warrior Football team at their opening games for the season! Varsity is TONIGHT at 7:30 vs Mountain Vista at Halftime Help Stadium. Freshmen and JV play Mountain Vista tomorrow at LPS Centennial Stadium. Freshmen at 9:00 am and JV at 11:30am.
