General Announcements
*Warriors - are you thirsty and missing your favorite water bottle? Please check out the Lost and Found table in the Cafeteria. There are also a few hoodies & jackets.
*Attention - any students that signed up to take the PSAT test MUST complete the student readiness check on either Thursday or Friday of this week. Please pull yourself to the "PSAT Student Readiness" Tribe in the cafeteria during one of those days. See the Counseling office with any questions.
*Warriors - Are you still planning to join one of the largest clubs at Arapahoe? If you'd like to be a part of the Future Business Leaders of America, or FBLA, the deadline for signup is October 23rd and we cannot accept membership applications after that deadline. You do not have to be in any business classes, you just need to be ready to have a lot of fun! Stop by the Business hallway and scan the QR codes to join our Google Classroom and fill out the membership forms.
*Class of 2027, the Colorado Free Application Days are here TODAY through Thursday, October 22nd. During these three days, Colorado residents can apply to many Colorado colleges and universities without paying an application fee. See your counselor or stop into the PSC if you have questions!
*Calling all students and staff time to show off your coloring skills for our first Annual Coloring Contest. Stop by the library and grab the coloring sheet to show off your creativity! All entries are due by Wednesday, Oct 28th.
*Good morning Warriors! If you were waiting to see the weather forecast for the Sunday Stride event, you can now rest assured that it will be a dry, cool fall morning and perfect temps for walking, jogging, trotting or running the Stride 5k. We are 30 participants down from the leading high school at the moment . Can you help raise our numbers? Let’s do it!
*Hey Warriors! Have you purchased your 2027 Calumet yearbook? Prices increase to $80 on October 30th, so get yours soon! You can purchase yearbooks on Infinite Campus under "fees” or with cash or check with the AHS Bookkeeper.
*Do you need some help with your classes, well NHS is here to help! Peer tutors are here to help during, before and after school. Use or scan the QR code on flyers throughout the school and you will be connected with a tutor.
Athletics
*Come pack the stands for our Boys Soccer teams TONIGHT @ HOME at Littleton Stadium against the Grandview Wolves. Varsity will play at 7:00pm after JV plays at 5:00pm.
*Good Luck to our Girls Volleyball teams TODAY as they take on Smoky Hill at Smoky Hill HS. Varsity will play at 6:30pm after JV plays at 5:00pm. Our Sophomore team will play at 4:30pm followed by the Freshmen team at 5:30pm.
*Get ready to cheer on your ranked Girls Field Hockey team TOMORROW @ HOME at Centennial Stadium against Regis. Varsity will play at 6:00pm followed by JV @ 7:30pm and C Team at 8:30pm.
*Attention, ABK girls interested in playing soccer this spring. Registration for winter indoor is open, and spots are filling up fast. Register ASAP to secure your spot! Reach out to Coach Hayes or Coach Winn with questions!
