How would you like to have dinner with Chris Crutcher, author of such books as Staying Fat for Sarah Byrnes, Ironman, and Whale Talk?

Drop by the library to enter a contest in which two students will be chosen to join Mr. Crutcher for dinner Sunday evening, November 4th. All you have to do is answer these questions:

  • What is your favorite Chris Crutcher book and why is it your favorite?
  • What would you like to discuss with Mr. Crutcher at dinner? What questions would you like to ask him?

Two winners will be randomly drawn from all entries at the end of the school day on October 31st.

I was working in the library late one night
When my eyes beheld an eerie sight
For my biology from the table began to rise
And suddenly, to my surprise…

Take a break from all the “ghouling” madness of the holiday season and come check out the Library. In addition to having all the materials and studying tools you need to get ready for all of your “beastly” projects, we are sponsoring a holiday contest for all students! Come check out the jar of goodies located at the Circulation counter and make your best guess. The prize for the closest guess is the jar of goodies of course! The lucky winner will be announced on Wednesday, October 31st.

Violations cost a teen driver 2 points on their driving record for EACH unbuckled person in the car. A teen loses their license at 6 points. That means if 3 people are unbuckled, the license is gone.

The Remember Club asks you to buckle up and take care of one another.
