There
will be a final TSA celebration meeting today after school at 2:25 in Room E6.
We will be celebrating our TSA accomplishments and discussing
the opportunities to attend TSA Nationals this summer. This
will be our last regular TSA meeting for the 2012-2013 school year. Hope
to see you all there!!
Seniors
interested in performing a stupid human trick during the Warrior Week charity basketball game
must pick up an application from Mr. Brandberg in the World Languages
office. Applications are due by this Friday, March 15.
Free Alive @ 25 class for AHS students Monday March
18th, 3 - 7:30 p.m. The class is normally $39. To sign up go to the alive @ 25
website or there's a link on the schools website or talk to Deputy Englert.
Athletics
Today, the AHS Girls' lacrosse teams open their
2013 season against Smoky Hill High School. The Varsity girls play at
4:30 p.m. at Newton Middle School followed by the JV team at 6:00 p.m.
Let's have a great turnout to cheer the Warriors on to victory. Go Arapahoe,
corral the Buffaloes!
Good luck to the boys JV black lacrosse team as
they take on Smoky Hill after school today at 4:30.
Hey Warriors, the girls basketball team will
take on Highlands Ranch on the road in the "Final 4" 5A State
Tournament game on Thursday, March 14th. Game time will be 8:30 p.m. at the CU
Event Center. Spirit bus and student admission tickets will be sold from
11:00 - 11:30 a.m. and then again from 2:00 - 2:30 p.m. Tuesday thru Thursday.
The swim waiver for
all current Arapahoe High School students will be given Thursday, March 21st @
6:00 a.m. This is the last swim waiver given at Arapahoe for the school year.
You must sign up prior to the test with Mrs. Leyden. Stop by her office in the
Women's PE Office near the Auxillary Gym or send her an email: jleyden@lps.k12.co.us. You must pre-register. The deadline is: Monday,
March 18th.
