Hey Warriors, Warrior Week is finally
here. Tickets for the Senior verses Staff Basketball game and the Arapahoe
and C.U. Buffoons Concert are on sale now for $5 in the cafeteria during lunch.
The C.U. Buffoons concert will be held after school today in the Theatre at
7:00 and the Senior verses Staff Basketball game will be Wednesday at 7:00 in
the Main Gym. Warrior Week T-shirts will also be available in the cafeteria for
only $10. Don't miss out on any of this year's Warrior Week events! All money
raised will be donated to Adam's Camp.
Attention students participating in a stupid
human trick during Wednesday's charity basketball game. There will be a
mandatory meeting this Wednesday morning at 6:45 a.m. in Room C21 to review
important details and go over the schedule for Wednesday evening's game.
Please see Mr. Brandberg in the World Languages office if you are unable to
attend.
Amazing job this past Saturday to the ladies of the Arapahoe
Winter Guard! They had a drop-free performance at Prairie View HS!
They scored an 84.5 out of 100, which was the 1st highest Scholastic Score and
the 2nd highest score of the entire contest. Congratulations!!!
Congratulations to the Arapahoe Winter Percussion Ensemble for
their outstanding performance on Saturday at Northglenn High School! AHS
scored an 80.9 out of 100 and are currently ranked 2nd in the state of
Colorado!!! Great job everyone!!!
ATTENTION ALL ARAPAHOE ARTISTS, ART ATTACK IS HERE! We are now accepting entries for our 2013
show. Show off your talents and submit up to two works in every category.
See flyers around the school for detail. Bring your artwork in to
any art teacher now through April 5th.
Attention
freshmen! Hearing and vision testing is
this week! Testing will take place
during your English class. Please be sure to wear and/or bring your glasses or
contacts to school. Thank you!
Free Alive at 25 class today at 3 p.m. in Room
W101. There is still room in the class. If you would like to attend just show

Athletics
Congratulations to the
AHS girls' Varsity lacrosse team for their shut out of the Eaglecrest Raptors
last Friday at Newton field. The Warriors' offense scoring was led
by Kienan Lindhardt with 4 goals and 2 assists, followed by Kate Englert with 4
goals. All in all, ten different
Arapahoe players contributed to the final 17-0 score with goals and assists,
keeping the ball on Arapahoe's end of the field. Way to go, Warriors!
Good effort to the JV Black boys lacrosse team
in their first game of the season against Rock Canyon. They fought till the end
and still brought on a good game! Better luck next time Warriors!
The level 3 boys lacrosse had a great try at
their game on Saturday against Eagle Crest but lost 9-3. Good try boys!
For anyone interested in playing volleyball for
the fall 2013 season, there will be a brief information meeting to discuss
spring and summer dates on Wednesday, March 20, at 7AM in W205. Please
see Coach Syers asap if you plan on playing but cannot attend the meeting.
