Announcements
Attention
students! There has been an important change of dates. The Toy Delivery to Eagleton Elementary,
which was scheduled for Wednesday December 17, must be changed to Friday,
December 19 due to a scheduling conflict at Eagleton. If you have completed a permission form, you
will need to complete a new form, which can be picked up from the Attendance
office. We will save your place in
line. We also still have a few spots
remaining on the bus if you haven't signed up yet. If you are unable to attend, please let us
know so we can offer that spot to someone else.
Please check in the Attendance Office if you have any questions.
Hey Key Club, there is no meeting today, but
this is a reminder that we have the Sweet Dreams in a Bag event on Monday, December 22. Everyone is welcome and
encouraged to help with that. Check the Key Club Facebook page or ask one
our teacher sponsors for more information. Hope to see you there!
This is a friendly reminder that our last TSA
Meeting of the semester is this Tuesday after finals at 12:10 in Room E9. We will be discussing
your progress on your competitive events, fundraiser update, and T-Shirt
designs. Also a reminder that your TSA state conference money and paperwork is
due the week after winter break.....if not BEFORE break. If you've never
played "Giant Jenga".....this will be your lucky day as we will close
out the business meeting with our annual TSA Giant Jenga tournament. See you
then!
Good morning, Arapahoe! The
Muse magazine would like to thank you for all the great work you've
sent us this semester. Our staff has been reading and viewing your
submissions, and we're going to have a great magazine! Today is our FINAL
SUBMISSION DAY! Please make sure you send us your work by midnight tonight,
if you'd like your creative work to be considered for this year's magazine, and
again, Thank You!!
Attention Muse Members. If you ordered a t-shirt, please be
sure to pick it up this week from Mrs. Svigel in the art department. All shirts
that are not paid for by the end of the week will be sold as a first come first
serve basis. So if you still want your shirt please come and get it by Friday. Thank
you !
The PSAT
results are back. Please come to the Guidance Office to pick up your results.
On Tuesday, every
third locker will be receiving a sticky note with a nice note on it. For
Deliberate Acts of Love and Kindness, we would love it if you could use the two
blank sticky notes below it to write something nice. It can be someone
who you really care about, or a complete stranger. Thanks for your
participation!
Lost and Found: Please
check the table in the cafeteria for clothing items and the Attendance Office
for smaller items. After Friday,
December 19, all items will be donated.
Athletics
Your
Arapahoe Lady Warriors Varsity Basketball Team dominated their game against
Heritage Friday Night. The Warriors won 62 - 36. Top
scorers for the Warriors were Jennah Knafelc with 23 points and Katie Crowley
with 13 points. Macy Ziegler lead assists. It was a complete team effort
with rebounds, steals and scoring. Way
to go Warriors! Next game for your Lady
Warriors is tomorrow night as they
take on Chapparal at Chapparal at 7:00 p.m.
Please note the game
times for Wednesday's games (12/17) at
Heritage for ALL boys basketball teams will start 30 minutes earlier than
normal due to exams. The NEW game times are 6:30 Varsity,
5:00 JV and Sophomore, and 3:30 Freshman. Please get this word out since we absolutely
need to pack the gym for this cross-town rival game. You must cancel
work, delay office holiday parties, move final shopping plans, take extra Vitamin
C, eat well, hydrate, etc. to make sure you will all be at this game!
Just kidding - but really, try to be there because this is always a fun rival
event to cheer our boys on!
Don't forget about the
inaugural Alumni Night basketball game this Saturday.
Come hang out and enjoy a great community get together to see players old and
new. Alumni teams will square off after the 2:00 p.m. Varsity
game vs Dakota Ridge. We expect competitive juices will be flowing as
past Warrior greats plan to show off their stuff. Players from each of
the last few years who made the Great 8, Final 4, and State championship games
have formed teams.
For further details on any announcements
see the Arapahoe web site.
