HO! HO! HO! AHS
Toys for Tots has a goal of 1,000 toys for Eagleton Elementary and the Denver
Indian Center. We now have about 288 toys in the
building. We need 712 more toys to meet our
goal. We only have three more school days to bring them
in. Watch for sales – the best way to shop, and start bringing your toys in tomorrow. You
make it happen!
Attention all FBLA Members. Be sure to attend our next
meeting today after school in Room
E-9. T-Shirts and prizes will be handed out! Competitive events and
community service will be discussed.
Hey MUSE members, we have our last meeting of the semester today
after school in Room C-17. Be there to
help us wrap up the semester and to get your new t-shirt!
Attention
all boys swimmers and divers. There is a mandatory meeting today after
school in the forum.
The first
round of yearbook club photos will be taken on the theatre stage starting at
2:30 p.m today.
The following clubs are signed up for Wednesday -- Key Club
at 2:30, Yoga Club at 2:40, Wild Warrior Women at 2:50, Science Bowl at 3:00,
Mock Trial at 3:10, and the Muse at 3:20. Winter Guard and Unified Sports were
re-scheduled for another date. Club
members & sponsors: Please report to the band hallway 5 - 10 minutes early
so that we can get organized, and just in case we are ahead of schedule. Thank
you!
Attention Key Clubbers, we will meet immediately after
school in the music hall to get together for our year book photo. Please
get down there as quickly as possible so that we will be ready for
our 2:30 photo. See you there.
Attention
all Students! Be part of the human thank you project thanking our
community for all of their support last December. The words ARAPAHOE
THANKS YOU will be spelled out by each of you in order to create the letters of
the word. Please wear your black and gold! The date of this event
has changed to Wednesday,
December 10th. Please meet after school next Wednesday to take part in this great event!
Athletics
Come out and support AHS girls swim and
dive this tomorrow at 5:30 p.m. as JV hosts their first
home meet of the season against Mullen. Go Lady Water Warriors - swim
fast!
The Arapahoe Lady Hoops Varsity
Basketball Team had an impressive WIN over George Washington High School last
night. The Warriors won 77-54. Top scorer was Jennah Knafelc with
35 points. Other players with double digits were Katie Crowley with 12 points
and Macy Ziegler with 10 points, followed by Jordyn Vega with 9 points.
Rebounds were led by Jennah Knafelc, Annabelle Brewer and Elianna Kerby.
The team was successful due to the overall TEAM effort made by every player on
the court! Congrats girls on being Warrior Strong on the Court! The Arapahoe Lady Hoops Varsity Basketball
Team would like to say Thank You to the MOWB (Men of Womens Basketball) for
coming out and supporting them in their WIN over George Washington High School!
