on the AHS Homepage. All applications for the Wind River Trip are due tomorrow.
Hey Warriors, how many of you liked forming teams for events
like DECA Dodgeball? Well, this spring
during Warrior Week we are introducing, for the first time ever, the all school
Table Tennis Tournament! Anyone
interested in participating needs to form a team of 4 and stop by Mrs. Lee's
desk in the English office and grab a sign up packet. Packets will be
available until February 26th and there's a limited amount of teams
so it’s first come first serve.
Seniors
interested in playing in the Staff vs. Senior Warrior Week basketball game must
pick up an application from Mr. Brandberg in the World Languages office.
Applications are due by Wednesday, February 25.
Gooood morning! The Muse magazine would
like to thank all who submitted their work to us in the fall. We had a
record number of submissions, which made our job of selecting those that will
be published much harder. We would like to thank ALL of those students
who sent us their fine work, and encourage everyone to send us more work next
year. And now, we would like to announce that we have made our
decisions for the 2015 magazine! You will find lists of accepted
artists, prose writers, and poets in two places: First, in the Muse glass
display case right outside the Language Arts office, and also on the TV
monitors throughout the school. In addition, all accepted artists and
writers should be receiving a congratulatory note this week in your
classes. As you look at the lists of accepted writers and artists,
remember that if you requested anonymity, your name will NOT be listed, but you
should receive a note indicating that your work will be published in this
year’s Muse. If you wrote under a pseudonym, that name
(not your own), will be the one on the list of published students.
Congratulations to all our writers and artists! We will be celebrating
you and your work further, after the magazine is published, in
April.
