General Announcements

Attention students... In an effort to maintain safety and security, we want to remind you that students wearing ear buds and headphones should only wear then in ONE ear at a time. Thank you for your cooperation.

The TSA meeting will be tomorrow at 3:50 to coincide with our TSA Club picture.  Please plan on coming to the TSA meeting and staying for the picture.

There’s a new survey for the Arapahoe Herald, and this one’s about relationships. Check your LPS email account for the link. Thanks for your input.

The final round of club photos for the yearbook will start at 2:30 p.m. tomorrow on the theatre stage. The following clubs are scheduled -- Drama Club at 2:30, Thespians at 2:40, The Tribe at 3:00, History Club at 3:10, Ultimate Frisbee at 3:20, Sign Language Club at 3:30, Art Club at 3:40, TSA Club at 3:50, and Winter Percussion at 4:00.

Hey Warriors this year we want everyone to be involved in choosing our charity for Warrior Week! There will be a text poll available through Friday, February 6th. Text in your vote to 37607 for the charity you want, for Colorado Therapeutic Center message 169854, for Sweet Dreams in a Bag message 221801, and for Rocky Mountain Down Syndrome Association message 169897.  Look for more information on the projector during lunch.  Remember to vote! 

The Arapahoe Cheers are collecting toiletries for the Brandon Center Women's Shelter through Feb. 16th. Donation bins are located in the trophy hallway.  Items needed are shampoo, conditioner, soap, body wash, deodorant, toothpaste, toothbrushes, baby wipes, lotion, brushes and combs. 

Athletics

Congratulations to the Toms for their success at the National Dance Team Championships!  They competed against 74 of the best teams in the nation and advanced from preliminaries to semi-finals to finals, earning the title of 10th place.  Thank you Toms for representing Arapahoe High School in such an outstanding way!  We are so proud of you!

Your Lady Warriors Basketball teams play against Mullen tonight at Arapahoe. Varsity plays at 7:00 p.m.   JV and C Teams play at 5:30 p.m.  Please come out and support them!  

Spring Sports are just around the corner!  "Pink Card" distribution will be held in the cafeteria during lunches as follows:  Boys and Girls Track - Tuesday, February 10th; Baseball and Boys Swim/Dive -Wednesday, February 11th; Girls Golf, Soccer and Tennis - Thursday, February 12th.  Please make sure you have registered online and have a current physical on file with the Athletic Office before trying to get your pink card.  Go Warriors!

Attention Arapahoe baseball players and parents:  Our mandatory Baseball Booster Club meeting is next Tuesday, Feb. 10th, at 7:00 p.m. in the Forum.  At least one parent must be in attendance with the player.  Please use the North Trophy Hallway doors to enter the building.  Arrive early (@6:15) and browse the baseball products brought over to us by Dick's Sporting Goods.  Tryouts begin on Feb. 23rd.

Registration for the boys swim and dive season is open!  All issues with the registration website have been fixed!  Swim/ Dive is a no-cut sport, so all are welcome!  If you have enjoyed summer league, used to swim as a kid, or think chlorine smells like summer, then you need to be a part of the team!  Swim/dive season starts February 23rd.  Register atwww.ahsboysswimdive.com.
