General Announcements

Great job to everyone who competed this past weekend at the DPS Speech and Debate Invitational. We had multiple people receive ribbons as well as three finalists! Congratulations to Ethan Snow for taking 3rd in International Extemp, Caleb O'Hayre for winning most outstanding speaker in Congress, and Ally Olson for getting nominated in Congress. Good luck next weekend at Raptor Rumble!

Hey Warriors! Valentine's Day is in three days! Help spread the love for just $1 by buying Valentine flowers at lunch for all your friends, teachers, significant others, and loved ones. Delivery will be on Friday.  See you there!

Come join us in the cafeteria this Friday during first and second lunch to buy some Barkalicious dog treats for your furry friends, made with love by the students in S6 . . . just $1.00 a bag.

Hey Seniors! The yearbook staff has posted the senior portraits in the hallway next to the journalism in Room E8. Please stop by to check the accuracy of your senior photo and biography. We are finalizing the senior section and will send it to the printer soon.

Athletics

Unified won another exciting basketball game Monday night against Columbine High School.  The score was 53 to 52 with the game winning shot by Aaron Schmidt at the buzzer.  Other high scores were by Mariah Cornell and Dario DeAngelis.  Our next game is Monday night at Dakota Ridge at 5:45.  See you there!

Spring Sports are just around the corner!  "Pink Card" distribution will be held in the cafeteria during lunches as follows:  Baseball and Boys Swim/Dive - today; Girls Golf, Soccer and Tennis - tomorrow.  Please make sure you have registered online and have a current physical on file with the Athletic Office before trying to get your pink card.  Go Warriors!

Anyone interested in being a part of the 2015 Arapahoe Warrior Track and Field team should attend an informational meeting tomorrow at 2:30 in Room S14. We will be discussing the upcoming spring season. Come and be a part of the Arapahoe track family. If you are currently in a Fall sport and unable to attend please see Coach Lienemann sometime before the end of the week.

Registration for the boys swim and dive season is open!  All issues with the registration website have been fixed!  Swim/ Dive is a no-cut sport, so all are welcome!  If you have enjoyed summer league, used to swim as a kid, or think chlorine smells like summer, then you need to be a part of the team!  Swim/dive season starts February 23rd.  Register atwww.ahsboysswimdive.com.
