Announcements
Hey Warriors! There is still time
to sign up for try outs to be one of our many talented daily announcement
readers! Auditions for the 2016-2017 school year will be held on Wednesday in
room E-15. Please see Ms. Biggi in the
Attendance Office to sign up for an audition time. Time slots are filling up.
See you at auditions!
Did you order a yearbook? All school fees
and fines must be paid before you can pick it up next week. Check
infinite campus to make sure your fees are paid. Avoid long payment lines
next week and take care of your fees today!
Seniors -- all library materials are due no later than this Friday, May 6. All library fines will need to be paid prior to picking up
your graduation cap and gown. Fines may be paid to the bookkeeper, Mrs. Cheney,
or in the library to Mr. Murphy or Mrs. Rice.
Have you ever wanted to play an instrument but didn't
know how? Have you ever wanted to wear a tuba? This week, the
Arapahoe Band will have opportunities for YOU to try instruments like
trombones, sousaphones, drums, saxophones, and more! Bring your friends
and go to the band room after school on Wednesday at 3 PM and
Friday at 2:30 PM to learn how to play these and
other awesome instruments!
Attention Key Clubbers! Summer Break is right around the corner, but we still have a
couple events! Be sure and join us today after school for
our last meeting so we can share the details for our last events. Please bring in any final donations by Friday. The last Jiminy Wickets event will be this Saturday,
May 7th from 10 a.m. -noon, so please come join us!
The Spectacular Arapahoe
Color Guard is having tryout clinics and tryouts starting this week. If
you are interested, please attend our informational meeting on Wednesday at 6:30pm in the AHS Theatre. Visit our website for more
dates of clinics and tryouts. You can also talk to Mr. Funk in the band
office for more info. Be a part of a state champion team! A-Team

Athletics
Congratulations to the ABK Warrior
Varsity and JV Soccer teams in their victories over Smoky Hill on Thursday! The Varsity won 6-0 with goals contributed by
Dani Babb, Izzy Benasso, Camryn MacMillan and Sydney Maxson. The JV won
10-0 with goals contributed by Annie Baker, Ashlyn Baird, Summer Mock, Natalie
Kuroda, Georgia Russel, Ryan Renshaw and Arianna Young. Great job ladies!
Come out tomorrow night
and cheer on the JV and Varsity as they take on Pomona at the AHS soccer fields
at 4 p.m. Go
Warriors!
Come support the Men of Volleyball gold
team in their last regular-season match against Cherry Creek and Niwot. Matches
start at 6:30 and 7:30pm tonight at Cherry Creek High School. Wear your black
and gold and come ready to cheer! Go Warriors!!
The Girls Tennis Team is collecting
gently used tennis rackets for a charity called Rackets for All. You will
receive a raffle ticket for every racket you bring in. The winner will be
announced next Monday, May 9th. There will be a table in the cafeteria
where you can donate your racket or drop it off in the Mrs. Leyden's Office by
the Aux Gym.
