Announcements
Attention members
of National Honor Society...
Our last meeting of the
year is happening next Wednesday after school in the forum. At
this meeting, senior members can leave after a couple of quick announcements,
and then juniors will hold elections for next year's officers. Juniors
interested in running for office do not need to register ahead of
time, but they should plan to speak about their qualifications for
approximately 1 minute. Service logs for this semester can also be turned
in at this meeting if you're ready to turn yours in, or you can also turn them
in at Mr. Smith's desk in the science office any time before the end
of the school year.
Hey Key Clubbers! Summer is almost here! We
have our last two events of the year this afternoon and tomorrow morning. Also, don't forget that all final donations are due
today. The Key Club officers and sponsors want to thank all of our wonderful
and dedicated members for their hard work and service this year. We had a great
year, and can't wait to see you all again next year!
Attention Seniors - if you are concerned about the pronunciation of
your name for Graduation, please contact your elected readers, Mrs. Lombardi or
Mr. Meyer as soon as possible, to clarify.
If your last name begins with A thru L, contact Mrs.
Lombardi.
If your last name begins with M thru Z, contact Mr. Meyer.
Art Attack has come to an end. If your work was in the show,
please make sure you stop by the art department to pick it up.
Yearbooks will be
distributed on Monday from 2:20 to 3:00
p.m. in the cafeteria. You must show a photo ID or an Infinite Campus
printout with your photo to pick up your yearbook. All school fees and fines must be paid before you can pick up
your yearbook. Check infinite campus to make
sure your fees are paid. See the AHS website for more details.
Seniors
-- all library materials are due today. All library fines will need to be paid
prior to picking up your graduation cap and gown. Fines may be paid to the
bookkeeper, Mrs. Cheney, or in the library to Mr. Murphy or Mrs. Rice.
Have you ever wanted to play an instrument but didn't know
how? Have you ever wanted to wear a tuba? This week, the Arapahoe
Band will have opportunities for YOU to try instruments like trombones,
sousaphones, drums, saxophones, and more! Bring your friends and go to
the band room after school today at 2:30 PM to
learn how to play these and other awesome instruments!
