Want to get involved in one of
Arapahoe's largest clubs? Are you interested in business? If so, FBLA is the place for you. Make
it your business to attend our first meeting after school on Wednesday,
September 14th, in room E1287 to learn what FBLA is all about.
School pictures have arrived! If you've purchased school pictures please
stop by the Attendance Office during an off period to pick them up. Make-up
Picture Day will be Tuesday, October 11th.
Have you taken 3 business
classes? If so, stop by the business department and pick up an
application for the National Business Honor Society. The deadline to
submit applications is Monday, September, 19th.
Saturday’s third and final day of the
Warrior Invitational Tournament wrapped up with a 1-0 victory for the Arapahoe
Varsity in a strong all-around performance against Liberty High School. A
special congratulations to the Arapahoe JV team as they won the Junior Varsity
Championship game against Lakewood by a score of 3-1! Thanks to everyone for your support of the
Warriors, and your support for the great cause of Lace Up 4 Pediatric Cancer
during the tournament.
A Big Shout Out to the Lady
Warriors Softball team for defeating Heritage on Friday. It was a very close
and exciting game but once again our hot bats lead us to victory! Good Luck in
your games this week! Let's keep the winning streak going!
Congrats to the boys and girls cross country teams for
their excellent running at the Liberty Bell meet on Friday. The boy’s varsity was 4th
and girls varsity was 5th overall in the large school division while the JV
boys were 2nd and the JV girls ran an impressive first place overall. Good luck
this Saturday
at Rock Canyon!
There will be a Girls Golf meeting on Wednesday, September 14
at 6pm for players and parents, in the Forum. You will be
able to order your personalized golf bag at this meeting.
Congratulations
to both the boys Varsity and Junior Varsity for dominating victories against
Grandview High School on September 8th. Varsity won 5 of 7 matches and JV
won 13 of 14. Arapahoe has a busy schedule next week with 4 matches,
including a home match against Cherokee Trail on Monday, September 12th.
Please visit the courts to support your undefeated Warriors tennis teams!
The Arapahoe Cheer Team will be
conducting a Buck A Bag Fundraiser with ARC Monday, September
12th and run through Sunday, September 18th. You can drop
off your bagged donations at 1190 West Littleton Blvd., Littleton, from
9/12-9/18 from 9am to 4pm. Please let ARC know it's for Arapahoe High
School Cheerleading. Please support this fundraiser!
