General Announcements
School pictures are still here! If you've purchased school pictures please
stop by the Attendance Office during an off period to pick them up. Make-up
Picture Day will be Tuesday, October 11th.
Guest
forms for the Homecoming Dance are now available in the Activities/Attendance
Office. These forms are only available to students in Grades 10-12. The
forms MUST be fully completed, approved and returned to Mrs. Railey in the
Activities office by 3 pm on Tuesday, Sept. 27.
The Post Grad Center
is hosting Villanova, the University of Utah, and the University of Southern
California on Thursday. On Friday, we host Pepperdine University. For

The Homecoming Talent Show is coming
up! Tickets will be sold in the cafeteria on Thursday and Friday and at
the door. The show is on Monday night, September 26 at 7:00. Homecoming royalty will be presented and a bake
sale will take place outside of the theater.
The TSA Club meets on the 1st and
3rd Tuesdays of the month through February.

at the State Competition .Students work individually or as a team in many
areas: agriculture, biotechnology, website and dragster design, flight
challenge, film technology, CAD and 3D
modeling, desktop publishing, structural engineering, and many more .

Attention all Link Leaders and
freshmen, Link Crew has rescheduled our Donut Day for this Thursday,
September 22nd at 7am. Freshmen, please meet your Link Leaders in the
cafeteria to get a fresh Lamar’s donut! We hope to see you there!
Are you interested in a career in the
medical field? if so, be sure to attend a presentation in the forum next
Tuesday during 4th and 5th periods in order to learn all about how you can be
part of this exciting industry. For more information, please see Mr.
Sawyer in the Business Department.
Attention parents and students! This Saturday, your AHS Key Club is sponsoring a College Planning 101 course that is open to any and all students and parents who are interested in learning more about how to prepare for college. This is a free course, and more information can be found on the gold flyers posted around the school. A link to the flyer can be found HERE. College Planning 101 will take place this Saturday morning from 10am-11:30am in the AHS cafeteria. We hope to see you there!

HEY WARRIORS! We have one more spot
remaining in the DECA Dodgeball tournament. Get your registration packet turned
in ASAP to claim the last spot in one of the most exciting events of the
year.
Congrats to the volleyball program on
their sweep over Eaglecrest last night! Our next game is this Friday at
Overland. Next week we have 2 home games! Tuesday is our Homecoming game
against Grandview, come out to support us! GO WARRIORS!

Congratulations to the boys fresh/soph
team for hard fought victory over Hinkley last night 2-1. with goals by Brandt
Payne and Dirk Meyer. Show your support as they take on Grandview today."
Yesterday, your Boys’ Varsity Soccer
team beat Chatfield High School by a score of 2-1 with another strong
all-around effort. JJ Carl and Noah Anthony each scored a goal for the
Warriors. The JV team won as well, by a score of 7-0.
