General Announcements


*The AHS College Fair 2021 for Juniors and Seniors is tonight, October 28, from 6:00-7:00 p.m! Visit in-person with over 50 Colleges!

 

*Seniors! Do you have a November 15th college application deadline? The College Application Tracking Form is due this Friday, October 29th by 3:45 pm for all schools with a November 15th application deadline.  See Mrs. Arnold in the main office or Mrs. Conn in Post Secondary if you have questions regarding the tracking form.

 

*Halloween is tomorrow, Warriors. We encourage you to dress up! Remember that full face coverings are not allowed. Please also do not bring fake weapons or wear items that suggest violence. Remember that the school dress code still applies. See you at the costume contest at both lunches! 

 

*Today is the last day to submit your guess for the haunted Halloween Candy Jar Count! You could be the winner of a bucket of candy and a 3-D printed slinky! Winners will be announced tomorrow! Submit your guess in the Library today!

 

*Support our AHS Band! Hungry for Butter Braids? ORDER THIS WEEK! Add some beauty to your home this holiday season with poinsettias, Christmas Cactus and Succulent Gardens!  ORDER NOW through November 14, 2021. Pickup December 9, 2021 at Arapahoe High School. *Unified informational meeting will be held next week Wednesday, November 3 at 3:30 p.m. in room E1275.  This is for anyone interested in participating with Unified Cheer or Basketball. We hope to see you there!

 

*Are you looking for something fun to do this winter/spring season? Come join the AHS Winter Guard! Participants learn the art of throwing and catching flags, rifles, and sabers, and put on an EPIC choreographed show. You will also meet people from Littleton and Heritage too! Come to our info meeting with a parent on November 5th at 6:00 p.m. in the band room.

 

Athletics

 

*Our Varsity Boys Soccer Warriors were victorious in their first round playoff game against Chaparral last night by a score of 7-0. They advance to the Sweet 16 round next Tuesday at LPS stadium against Rampart HS. Way to go Warriors!

 

*Our Field Hockey Warriors battle Regis in the state semi-finals tonight, October 28 at 5:30 p.m. at All-City Stadium. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students. Let’s pack the stands and cheer on our Warriors to victory! 

 

*Our Volleyball Teams are back in action at Mullen today at 4:30, 5:30 and 6:30 p.m.

 

*Football faces Grandview at Legacy Stadium at 7:00 pm tonight. Go Warriors!

 

*AHS Girls Swim & Dive Kick-off meeting is Monday, November 1, 2021 in the Forum from 6:00-7:30 p.m. Meet the coaches, learn more about the season, find out how to register and try on this season’s swim gear! The meeting is strongly recommended for all interested parents and athletes. 

 

*Attention to all girls interested in joining the dive team and to all current dive team members: There will be a Try The Boards Session this Saturday, October 30th from 1:00-3:00 p.m. with Coach Morgan. Meet in the AHS pool. Bring your suit and get ready to spring into action.

 

*GIRLS BASKETBALL- It is not too late!!! We had a great turnout last night for the 1st day of Preseason Camp, but if you did not make it last night plan to attend tomorrow, Friday Oct 29th, at 3:45-5:45 p.m. in the Main gym. Join us and be a part of the most successful basketball program in the city and one of the most successful in the State of Colorado! See you Tomorrow!!!
