General Announcements


*There will be an FBLA Chapter meeting this Thursday after school in the forum.  We will be hosting a scavenger hunt and students will have more opportunities to sign up for competition. Turn in your registration paperwork and FBLA check by Friday to earn 5 bonus lettering points!

 

*Are you looking for something fun to do this winter/spring season? Come join the AHS Winter Guard! Participants learn the art of throwing and catching flags, rifles, and sabers, and put on an EPIC choreographed show. You will also meet people from Littleton and Heritage too! Come to our info meeting with a parent on November 5th at 6:00 p.m. in the band room.

 

*Check your school email for a Halloween survey from Warrior Media.

 

*Scary stories win big prizes! Saturday is the deadline! Enter Warrior Media's "Scary Story Contest" by October 23rd for the chance to win a prize and maybe even get published! Join the Scary Story Google Classroom with code

*Make sure to stop by the Library to submit your guess for the haunted Halloween Candy Jar Count! You could be the winner of a bucket of candy and a 3-D printed slinky! Winners will be announced October 29.

 

*Seniors, have you submitted your height for your graduation gown? If you haven't or you don't know, stop by and see Mrs. Witt in Student Services to confirm by October 22nd.

 

*Parking reminders: you must have a parking pass to park in the AHS parking lots. The retail store parking lots near the school are not for student parking and your car may be towed. Please be a good neighbor and park where you are supposed to park. 

 

*Let's Go Warriors!  Register to participate in this year’s STRIDE RUN/WALK or SLEEP event on Sunday, October 24, 2021. Challenge your friends, teams, families and neighbors to register! Do something good for yourself and MOVE WITH IT! For more info, go to RunTheStride.com

 

*Mark your calendars for the AHS College Fair 2021 for Juniors and Seniors! Visit in-person with over 50 Colleges on Thursday, October 28 from 6:00-7:00 p.m!

 

*Free in-person Alive@25 class is Monday, October 25 at 3:45 p.m. - 8:15 p.m. in room W1874. If you are voluntarily taking the class the Sheriff's Office pays for your $79 fee.  If you are 15 1/2 you can get a driver's permit after taking the class and many insurance companies give you a discount. This is a 4 1/2 hour class. Sign up on-line at www.alive@25.us. The registration code is "arapahoe". Any questions, ask Deputy Englert.

 

*Did you know you can earn  high school graduation credit by taking driver education? Go to https://littletonpublicschools.net/driversed. We have Saturday classes, after school classes, and online only classes this Fall, Winter, Spring, and Summer. Need a license test before, during, or after school onsite at LHS in LPS Driver Ed cars, call 303-347-4380.

 

Athletics

*Please join us for Senior Night for our Boys Varsity Soccer Team tonight at 7:00 p.m. at LPS stadium. Prior to the start of this final regular season home game against Mullen, we will honor our 12 seniors and their families. JV will be playing Mullen at LPS stadium at 5:00 p.m. We look forward to seeing you there!

*Your JV Warrior Cross Country Team finished the season strong despite frigid conditions last Thursday. The League Championship was a success with three runners earning 1st Team All-League Honors and four earning 2nd Team All-League! Cheer on our varsity runners in the coming weeks as they compete in Regionals before dominating at STATE! Go Warriors!

 

*All girls wanting to play basketball this coming season plan to attend our Pre-Season Camp which begins 10/27 at 6:00 p.m. in the Main Gym and Friday at 3:45 p.m. Come and join the most successful Girls Basketball program in Littleton!!! *Warriors stop by Jets Pizza at the Broadway or Holly locations tonight, October 19th to grab a slice of pizza to help support your Arapahoe High School Cheerleaders!

 

*ABK Girls Soccer will be forming teams for a Fall Indoor Soccer Session through South Suburban.  If you are interested in participating, contact the ABK Girls Soccer Booster Club at abkgirlsbooster@gmail.com.  Space is limited and games are Nov. 1 through Dec. 20.

 

*Attention all current and potential Arapahoe Baseball Warriors, you and your parents are invited to join us on Wednesday, October 20, at 6:00 p.m. in the Forum for a meeting of the Arapahoe Baseball Booster Club. Learn more about plans for the Spring 2022 AHS school baseball season including key dates and events. We look forward to seeing all of you there!
