General Announcements

*Hey Warriors! It's almost Warrior Week! Ashlee, our wish kid, loves pink, anything Disney, and horses! We are fundraising to send her to Disney world! Please wear pink during tribe on Tuesday or buy a wish week shirt to support Ashlee! Be ready to play some fun class competitions and see a big surprise! Let's see everyone sport pink during the assembly!

*Warrior Week is next week, and Student Council is selling t-shirts for $10 to support Ashlee's dream of visiting Disney World.  Shirts are available at both lunches in the cafeteria.  Please come by and buy a shirt.

*Looking to get a job soon? Come to the Arapahoe High School Job Fair this Wednesday after school in the cafeteria. The fair will run until 4:30pm. 38 employers will be there looking to hire freshmen through seniors, and they will answer any questions you have about summer, part-time and full-time positions. Local employers such as South Suburban, Perfect Pools, and Chick Fil A will be there, along with many others. The job fair is for Arapahoe High School students only. Be sure to show up to this great event! Please see Mr. Sawyer in the Business Department office if you have any questions.

*During Warrior Week, there will be a badminton tournament. This will be a 2 vs. 2 tourney for our Make a Wish kid! The tourney will be on April 6th and April 8th during both lunches. A small $5.00 fee is required. The sign-up is on the posters and the deadline is April 5th! Pizza is served at lunch too! 

*Let’s get ready to rumble! Time to pack the gym, Warriors!! Your 2022 Swish for a Wish basketball game is coming up soon! The seniors will face off against the staff on April 6th at 7:00pm in Sitting Eagle Gymnasium. Admission is $5.00, and a half-court shot contest will go down at halftime, with the winner earning a Chick-Fil-A gift card! Come show your support for Ashlee; go Warriors!

*Juniors don’t miss College & Career Night this Wednesday, March 30th, from 6-8:30pm! Get inspired to meet your post-grad goals with tips on finding the right school, searching for scholarships, writing essays and more. Check your email for details and make a plan for attending, there’s something for every journey!

*Sergeant Scott from the US Army National Guard will be available in the cafeteria tomorrow during both lunches for anyone interested in speaking with him about a career in the military.


Athletics


*Have unused paint or varnish? Come to the Paint Recycling Event on Saturday, April 2, at the East Parking Lot between 1 - 4pm. The event is free and voluntary donations are accepted to benefit the Girls Lacrosse Team and Boys Baseball Team. See below flyer for more information.
