General Announcements
*Warriors, come to the 2023 Arapahoe Homecoming Talent Show TONIGHT at 7:00pm in the theater! Bring $5 in cash for entry! You can also get your homecoming dance tickets today and the rest of the week during both lunches. Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door, cash or check only. Tomorrow’s dress-up day is Adam Sandler/Wacky Wednesday, so dress in your best baggy, wacky clothes and Adam Sandler-inspired outfits.
*Warriors, if you are planning to bring a guest (someone who is not an AHS student) to our Homecoming Dance on Saturday, September 9th, please stop by the Front Desk or Activities office to pick up a Guest Pass Approval Form. This Approval Form is due by Thursday, September 7th at 3:00pm.
*Hey Freshman Warriors - on Thursday, September 7th, Link Crew is hosting a Homecoming T-shirt decorating party in the cafeteria after school! Bring your homecoming shirts and some friends to participate in a time-honored Arapahoe tradition. See you there!
*Seniors who are applying to college: Application Boot Camp starts tomorrow at 8:15am in the Forum! All are welcome and encouraged to attend.
*Come one come all to the first meeting of the First Responder Club tomorrow at 8:20am in E1287! If you have an interest in any first responder profession or just want to hang out with the coolest SROs, come to the meeting. Hope to see you there!
*Seniors - a Herff Jones representative will be in the bubble entrance on Friday, September 8th from 11:00am-1:00pm to provide information on graduation announcements, class rings, etc. This is the only day the reps will be at AHS. If you are unable to attend on this date, questions may be directed to Mrs. Sorensen in the Student Services office.
*SUPPORT Arapahoe Theatre and get something great to eat at the same time. Stop by Zell’s Creperie on Friday, September 8th between 7:00am and 7:00pm and grab a panini or crepe. Mention Arapahoe Theatre and some of the proceeds will go to the program.
Athletics
*The Varsity Boys Tennis team will be in action TODAY against Grandview at 3:45pm at Grandview! Good Luck Warriors!
*Congratulations to the LPS/Heritage Gymnastics team with some of our Arapahoe gymnasts for earning third place at the Cherry Creek Invitational on Saturday. Come support them as they compete again this Thursday at Cherry Creek High School.
