General Announcements
*Congratulations to the winners of several Homecoming contests.
First, the winning Class float at the Homecoming parade goes to the Sophomore Class of 2026! Congrats Sophomores!
The overall winner of the Homecoming float was the LSA/BSA Float.
Second place goes to the AHS Thespians and their Romeo and Juliet float.
Third place is awarded to the Baseball team's Field of Dreams Float. Thank you to the nearly 30 clubs/activities/sports that participated in this year's parade.
The Freshmen class was the overall winner of the 4 dress-up days totals. Way to show up with school spirit, Freshmen!
Juniors won the Battle Cry and Tug of War at the assembly and congrats go to the Seniors for winning the Fight Song and Obstacle course relay.
Arapahoe's Homecoming is second to none. Thanks to all our Warriors and our AHS Student Council members for making our week so memorable.
*Juniors and Sophomores - TODAY is the registration deadline for the PSAT/NMSQT. We encourage all Juniors to take this test as it is the only way to qualify for the National Merit Scholarship Program. The test is also optional for Sophomores, but it is a great way to get practice with the new digital format. Students can use this form to sign up.
*Attention Juniors and Seniors - have you taken 3 business classes at Arapahoe? If so, you might be eligible to be a member of the National Business Honor Society. Stop by the Business office to find out if you are eligible and to complete the application.
*Cookie time! FBLA is hosting its annual Cookie Kickoff meeting this Thursday, September 14th in the forum after school. Please come and join us for our cookie extravaganza! New members, returning members or those just interested in learning more, FBLA members will be waiting for you with our cookie extravaganza!
*Hey Freshmen - this Saturday, September 16th at 9:00am, Link Crew will be hosting a tailgate to support our freshman football team at the AHS turf field. Join us to help spread school spirit and enjoy some free breakfast! Hope to see you there!
*Warriors - there will be a free Alive@25 class Monday, October 2nd at 3:45pm - 8:15pm in room W1874. If you are voluntarily taking the class, the Sheriff's Office pays for your $79 fee. If you are 15½ you can get a driver's permit after taking the class and a lot of insurance companies give a discount for taking the class. This is a 4½ hour class so bring a snack. Sign up on-line at www.aliveat25.us. To register for the class the password is "arapahoe". Any questions ask Deputy Englert.
Athletics
*Congrats to Warrior Girls Volleyball for their sweep over Doherty last night. Sophomore, JV, and Varsity were all victorious. The Warriors take on Eaglecrest TOMORROW at Eaglecrest. Games start at 4:30, 5:00, 5:30, and 6:30. Come cheer them on!
*The Boys Varsity Tennis Warriors won big last night over Cherokee Trail with a score of 6-1. The boys are back in action today at the Denver Tennis Park taking on Denver South. The matches start at 3:45pm.
*Boys Lacrosse will have a mandatory meeting TONIGHT in the forum at 7:00pm for NEW players ONLY. We will cover everything you need to know for the season.
*Hey Warriors! Are you interested in joining the Girls' Swim and Dive team this year? If so, join us at the Varsity Inn this Saturday, September 16th from 3:00-5:00pm to enjoy some pizza, meet the coaches, and get to know the team. Hope to see you there!
