 General Announcements

*Happy Leap Day!  Leap year exists, in large part, to keep the months in sync with annual events, including equinoxes and solstices, according to the Jet Propulsion Laboratory at the California Institute of Technology. It's a correction to counter the fact that Earth's orbit isn't precisely 365 days a year.

*The American Legion is happy to once again generously award one lucky AHS student with the $2000 Claire Davis Memorial Scholarship. If you have a record of good deeds and service to our community, apply by April 5th! See Mrs. Conn in the Post-Secondary Center for more information!

*Great job to all the Arapahoe students who competed at the DECA State competition at the Broadmoor this past weekend. And a HUGE congratulations to Bella Cote, Shea Furlong, and Mia Rosado for qualifying to attend the DECA International Competition in Anaheim, CA!

*Want to visit more colleges for free? Don't miss the Denver Spring College Fair this Sunday, March 3rd, from 1:00pm-4:00pm at Cherokee Trail High School! With over 160 colleges to check out, you're sure to find a few to add to your list!
