General Announcements
*Dodge, duck, dip, dive and dodge! It’s time to get your dodgeball team together. Teams will consist of 10 kids, at least three have to be female. We are limiting sign ups to the first 16 teams, so first come, first served. Team captains, come down to the Activities office to pick up your packets.
*DECA is currently holding a book drive to collect books (new or used) for the free library at Gracefull Cafe. We are collecting books for readers of all levels. Donation boxes are located in the Business Office and at the east security desk in the bubble entrance. Any book donations would be greatly appreciated. The book drive will end Friday, February 16th.
*Arapahoe Vocal Music proudly presents “Heart & Soul - A Valentine’s Cabaret” on Friday, February 16th. Featuring the Arapahoe Vocal Music students showcasing their diverse talents in the program’s primary annual fundraising concert. *The AHS pit orchestra is looking for a few students who play electric guitar and/or bass to join us for the spring musical ~ ‘Mean Girls’. You don't have to be a current band student to participate so if you are looking for ways to get involved, this would be a great way to get started! Please contact Mr. Funk in the band room ASAP if you are interested.
*Warriors - the Be Happy Boutique is coming back to Streets of SouthGlenn! This is an opportunity to get formal wear (dresses & suits) for all of your formal events — from prom to homecoming and everything in between at a price you can afford. Mark your calendar to visit their ONCE A YEAR shop on the first two weekends of March! Be sure to plan ahead! They are located at Streets of Southglenn - across the street from H&M. They follow a pay what you can model. So whether someone can offer $0, $20, or more, all are welcome.
Athletics
*Do you have an interest in sports management? The AHS Baseball team is currently accepting applications for team managers for the upcoming spring season. Please see Coach Dollaghan in the PE department if you are interested.
