Just a reminder to all the students that
checked out books from the library before winter break, most of those books are
due back. Avoid those book fines, get your books back to the
library!
Have you ever been on Facebook? Ever sent an instagram or a
Tweet? This Friday, we will be having class assemblies in the theater. Our
speaker will be Justin Patchin, the Director of the Cyber Safety Research Center
at the University of Wisconsin. His presentation is not one to miss. Look for the schedules posted around the
school to see when your class will be attending.
Free Alive @ 25 class
for AHS students Tuesday January 22th, 3-7:30 p.m. The class is normally $39.

Athletics
Congratulations to the Varsity Girls Basketball
Team for their hard fought 37-35 win last night over the 10th ranked Cherry
Creek Bruins. The game was a tremendous TEAM effort and moves your #1ranked
Lady Warrior's season record to 10-0. Thanks
to everyone that came out and supported the team last night. The Lady Warriors
will be back in action tomorrow night at Smoky Hill @ 7:00 p.m. Come over to Smoky Hill and support your Lady
Warriors!
The JV girls basketball team won their season
opener against Cherry Creek last night 37-20. They led from the start and
kept the lead throughout the game. High scorer in the game was Jordyn
Vega with 13 points. Camryn Hoerdemann contributed with 7 points and
Maria Hass had 4 pts, 6 steals, and 8 rebounds. Please come out and
support them in their next game Friday night at Smokey Hill starting at 5:30.
Way to go Lady Warriors!!!
Congratulations to the Freshman girls basketball
team as they picked up another great win against Cherry Creek last night.
The final score was 45-21. Their overall record now is 7-0.
Keep up the great work ladies.

Calling all girls tennis players! There
will be a mandatory meeting for all girls interested in playing tennis this
spring. Girls and their parents should
attend the meeting on Tuesday, January 15, 2013 from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. in the Forum.
