Listen up TSA, your event registrations have been posted outside
of Room E6. Please stop by TODAY to verify your registered events!
No changes can be made after Friday at 2:30. This is very important for
you to do!
Attention Sophomores and Juniors! Are you interested in
the Teacher Cadet or Health Science program? What about Broadcast
Journalism, Criminal Justice or Cosmetology? Now is the time to see your
counselor and sign up for the Area Career and Technical School courses for next
school year. Spaces in these programs are limited, so be sure to sign up
as soon as possible! The deadline to submit an application is February
28th!
Hey Warriors! Prom planning is underway and we
need your help. There will be a school wide contest to create a design, which
will be shown on tickets and posters advertising this year's prom. The theme
is "Beneath a Painted Sky". This contest runs from the 22nd of
January through the 1st of February, and there will be a great prize for the
chosen artist. Designs can be turned in to Mrs. Crookham in the Math Office.
Get drawing!
Winter Dance Guest Forms are due Tuesday, January 22nd. Only
Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors may bring a guest from another school to the
dance. Please bring your completed form to the Attendance Office and make
sure you have a copy of your guest's ID attached to the form.
Athletics
The JV girls basketball team got another win Wednesday night
against Eaglecrest 44-22. High scorer was Annabelle Brewer with 16
points, Maria Haas had 13 rebounds and the team had a total of 19 steals, 38
deflections, 44 rebounds and 10 assists. They play tonight at AHS at 5:30
against Overland. Please come out and support your Lady Warriors
basketball team!!
Your lady Warriors Sophomore
basketball team is 3-0 in conference action. Come out and support this on fire
program at 5:00 in Sitting Eagle Gymnasium tonight. You can also catch the
Freshman team at 5:30 right afterwards. Good work on your perfect conference
season so far!
Congratulations
to the Arapahoe Warrior Wrestling Teams! All three levels defeated Smoky Hill
last night in Centennial League action. The Varsity won 51-18.
Come
out tonight and support the Arapahoe Wrestling team as they take on Heritage at
3:30 pm.
Heritage Hockey varsity
home game is Saturday night 8:30pm at South Suburban .This is the team for all
LPS hockey players, including many players from AHS, so please come support the
team.
