time for the Arapahoe Herald's monthly survey. Please check your school
email account or follow the link from the AHS webpage to take an
informational survey about student spending and saving habits and job trends for our March issue of the newspaper.
We really appreciate your time and input!
Sophomores
and Juniors, are you interested in taking a Career and Technical Education
course next fall? You need to sign up for these classes by March 4th.
Courses include Auto Tech, Broadcast Journalism, Fire Science, and
Health Sciences, just to name a few. Please stop in and see your
Guidance Counselor for more information about classes and how to sign up.
Athletics
Congratulations
to your 4th ranked Varsity girls basketball team for their win last night over #1
ranked Grandview 56-47. The win, once again, featured tremendous "Team
Defense" and balanced offensive scoring. The win moved the team's season
record to 20-2, with their final regular season game on deck tomorrow night at
Cherokee Trail, JV begins at 5:30 and the Varsity at 7:00. Come out and support
your Lady Warriors basketball team.
The
JV girls got another big win last night beating Grandview 59-44. They
continue to play great “team” ball with 10 of the 12 girls scoring. High
scorers were Maria Haas with a double, double with 14 points, 11 rebounds and 6
steals and Jennah Knaflec with 10 points. They have their last game
tomorrow traveling to Cherokee Trail so please come out and support them!!

Please
come out and support the Special Olympic basketball team as they go up against
Heritage High School tonight at 7:00 p.m. here at Arapahoe High School's Main Gym.
All
girls interested in playing tennis this season, please meet in Room S13 today
at 2:30 instead of on the tennis courts. See Mrs. Leyden if you have any
questions. Bring your pink card.
Heritage
Hockey first playoff game versus Regis is Friday night at Sertich Ice Arena in Colorado
Springs. Puck drops at 8 p.m.!
