Congratulations
to all students who competed in the FBLA District Competition yesterday. Twenty-two
students qualified for the FBLA State Competition in Vail this spring.
There will be a pizza party in Room E9 right after school today for all FBLA
members.
Big
week for TSA, we leave this Thursday after school for the 2013 TSA State
Conference. There is a MANDATORY TSA meeting today after school for
everyone attending State! See you all then!!
Sophomores
and Juniors, are you interested in taking a Career and Technical Education
course next fall? You need to sign up for these classes by March 4th.
Courses include Auto Tech, Broadcast Journalism, Fire Science, and
Health Sciences, just to name a few. Please stop in and see your
Guidance Counselor for more information about classes and how to sign up.
Auditions
for the 2013-2014 Tom Toms will be held on March 19th through March
22nd, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. in the Auxiliary Gym. A mandatory
parent/athlete meeting will be held on March 11th, at 6:00 p.m., in the
forum. All interested girls should attend.
Athletics
Come
out to Grandview tonight to watch your 4th ranked Lady Warrior's knock out the #1
ranked Grandview Wolves girls basketball team. It will be a game you do not
want to miss. JV starts at 5:30 and the varsity begins at 7:00. See you
there!
Please
come out and support the Special Olympic basketball team as they go up against
Heritage High School tomorrow, February 21st at 7:00 p.m. here at
Arapahoe High School's Main Gym.
All
girls interested in playing tennis this season, there will be an informal
practice on the tennis courts from 2:40 to 4:00 tomorrow and Friday. Dress to
play and bring your tennis racquet. Come out and meet the returning
Varsity and Junior Varsity players. Learn and play some new games. See Coach
Leyden if you have any questions.
