Students: A reminder to adhere to
Arapahoe's dress code. This includes: Pajamas and slippers are not
allowed, revealing clothing is not allowed - including tops that reveal
cleavage, midsections or open back tops. Halter tops and spaghetti
strapped tops are not allowed. If you have any questions, please feel
free to see any Administrator.
Come to Key Club next Monday to make Valentines
for the Holly Creek Senior Center and help us deliver them on Valentine's Day.
There will be cookies and you can pick up your Key Club pin and
membership card.
Attention Returning LINK leaders: Next week is the final week to complete
2013-2014 Commissioner applications. Applications due on Valentine's Day;
they are available on Mrs. Moritz's desk.
If you've turned in an application, please remember that you also need
to get three teacher recommendations and complete an interview in order to be
considered. If you have questions,
please contact any LINK sponsor.
Arapahoe High has
been affiliated with the Arapaho Tribe since 1992. As part of
our special relationship with the Arapaho, the Senior Class visits Wind River
every two years with a group of faculty and students. We are now
accepting applications for the 2013 Wind River trip in April. There are
applications available on line, in the attendance office and in the social
studies office. All applications are due to Ms Levi or Ms Price in the
social studies office by February 22nd.

students and staff, here is your reminder to come out tonight and watch your
4th ranked Varsity Girls Basketball team play Eaglecrest here at AHS ... JV at
5:30 and Varsity at 7:00. See you
tonight.
Please
come out and support the Special Olympic basketball team as they go up against
ThunderRidge High School on Monday, February 11th at 7:00 p.m. here at Arapahoe
High School's main gym.
#1 Heritage Varsity hockey takes on Peak Conference
rival Mountain Vista this Saturday Feb. 9 at South Suburban. The puck
drops at 8:30 p.m. Vista and Heritage are tied for points in the
standings so this could be the deciding game for conference
Champs! Come cheer on the league scoring leader, Connor Crory
as he continues to shatter the Heritage single season points record. The first 25 students (from any
LPS school) will get a free hockey Lanyard and there will be other prizes and
give aways, so get the word out.
Attention
baseball players...you MUST register
at ahswarriors.org to be able to try
out. This is the only way to get your pink card on February 13th. No pink card = no try out. Mandatory booster club
meeting Tuesday, February 12th at 7 p.m. in the Forum. Don't miss out!
Spring
Sports Online Athletic Registration is now open! Log on to www.ahswarriors.org and follow the instructions on the Home Page to sign up
for Baseball, Boys Swim/Dive, Track & Field, Girls Golf, Girls Soccer or
Girls Tennis.
