Students: A reminder to adhere to
Arapahoe's dress code. This includes: Pajamas and slippers are not
allowed, revealing clothing is not allowed - including tops that reveal
cleavage, midsections or open back tops. Halter tops and spaghetti
strapped tops are not allowed. If you have any questions, please feel
free to see any Administrator.
Attention all DECA members, we have this
month's all club meeting after school today in Room E-9. Wear your DECA shirts
for our club picture!
Come to Key Club next Monday to make Valentines
for the Holly Creek Senior Center and help us deliver them on Valentine's Day.
There will be cookies and you can pick up your Key Club pin and
membership card.
Do
you have any winter gear you don’t wear anymore? If so donate them to the Sox
Drive bins in the cafeteria and help prevent homeless young adults from
freezing. Sox Drive will be accepting
any mid condition jackets, shirts, pants, boots, shoes, and new socks. This
competition between Littleton and Heritage will only last until Friday,
February 8th so please check your closets and donate.
Athletics
Congratulations
to your Varsity girls basketball team for their win last night 63-28 over Smoky
Hill. The win featured 11 Warriors in the score column and solid "team defense".
The win moves your 4th ranked Warrior's season record to 16-2. The Lady Warriors
will be in action again tomorrow night here at AHS against Eaglecrest with the
JV beginning at 5:30 and the Varsity at 7:00. Come out and support your Lady
Warrior's Basketball Team!
The
JV girls basketball team completely dominated Smoky Hill in a win last night
with a score of 76-12. There were four girls with double digit scoring
and 11 out of the 12 players scored. High scorers were Jennah Knaflec
with 13 pts, Jordyn Vega with 11 points and 7 steals, Paige Husa with 10 points,
and Josie Tugman with 10 points and 11 rebounds. Great job and great team
work!
Your Sophomore Lady Warrior basketball team
defeated a tough Smoky Hill opponent last night, 21-2. Way to go Sophomores!
They're back in action tomorrow night at home at 4:00.
Congrats
to the Freshman girls basketball team. They picked up a great win against
Castleview High School last night by the score of 48-19. They played so
hard and continue to learn how to play at a high level. Keep up the great
work ladies!
Attention all girls who want to try out for the
golf team this Spring. You must attend a mandatory meeting with their parents tonight
at 5:30 in the forum. If you cannot attend the meeting, please see Mr.
Riordan in the World Language Office.
#1 Heritage Varsity hockey takes on Peak Conference
rival Mountain Vista this Saturday Feb. 9 at South Suburban. The puck
drops at 8:30 p.m. Vista and Heritage are tied for points in the
standings so this could be the deciding game for conference
Champs! Come cheer on the league scoring leader, Connor Crory
as he continues to shatter the Heritage single season points record. The first 25 students (from any
LPS school) will get a free hockey Lanyard and there will be other prizes and
give aways, so get the word out.

baseball players...you MUST register
at ahswarriors.org to be able to try
out. This is the only way to get your pink card on February 13th. No pink card = no try out. Mandatory booster club
meeting Tuesday, February 12th at 7 p.m. in the Forum. Don't miss out!

for Baseball, Boys Swim/Dive, Track & Field, Girls Golf, Girls Soccer or
Girls Tennis.
