Attention Drama Club: There
will be a mandatory meeting for all cast and crew members involved in All in the Timing after school TODAY in
the auditorium. Don't forget there is a Drama
Club meeting tomorrow for all members to have our club photo taken.
Please wear a show shirt or your hoodie for the picture. Our photo
is first so be on time!
The You Matter Club will be meeting tomorrow at 2:30 in the Guidance
Center. Please stop by and join us!
Attention FBLA members:
We have a meeting on February 6th at 2:25 in Room E9. We are discussing
District Competition and it is club photo day so wear your FBLA shirts! Don't forget to sign up for the practice
competition night, February 12th from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Time is running out and
spots are limited. The sign-up sheet is in the Business office on the FBLA
information board.
Members of National Honor Society, our monthly meeting is
happening after school this Wednesday in the auditorium. So please join
us in the Forum at 2:25 on Wednesday for a quick update on what's happening in
the world of NHS!
Do
you have any winter gear you don’t wear anymore? If so donate them to the Sox
Drive bins in the cafeteria and help prevent homeless young adults from
freezing. Sox Drive will be accepting
any mid condition jackets, shirts, pants, boots, shoes, and new socks. This
competition between Littleton and Heritage will only last until Friday,
February 8th so please check your closets and donate.
Arapahoe
High has been affiliated with the Arapaho Tribe since 1992. As
part of our special relationship with the Arapaho, the Senior Class visits Wind
River every two years with a group of faculty and students. We are now
accepting applications for the 2013 Wind River trip in April. There are
applications available on line, in the attendance office and in the social
studies office. All applications are due to Ms Levi or Ms Price in the
social studies office by February 22nd.
Athletics
Your Arapahoe High School Girls Swimming and Diving
Team are Centennial League Champions after ending Cherry
Creeks long standing, 38-year hold on the title Saturday at the A
League Meet here at Arapahoe. At the meet, Ella
Moynihan broke the Centennial League record in the 100 and 200
yard freestyle, capturing team records in both events and qualifying as
an All American. Four more
swimmers qualified for state: Rachel
Getz, Jenny LeBlang, Christine Maybee and Kym Shrock. There are now 19 swimmers who have qualified
for State and will participate in the State Meet this weekend in
Fort Collins. Congratulations girls!
Congratulations to the Lady Warriors Freshman Girls basketball
team. They put together their best game of their season against Cherry
Creek on Friday with a 56-25 victory. They all played so well and so
hard. They have two league games left before they head into their
conference tournament. Stay hungry girls.
Please
come out and support the Special Olympic basketball team as they go up against Bear
Creek High School on tonight at 7:00 p.m. here at Arapahoe High School's main
gym.
Attention all girls who want to try out for the
golf team this Spring. You must attend a mandatory meeting with their parents
this Thursday at 5:30 in the forum. If you cannot attend the meeting,
please see Mr. Riordan in the World Language Office.

Sports Online Athletic Registration is now open! Log on to www.ahswarriors.org and follow the instructions on the Home Page to sign up
for Baseball, Boys Swim/Dive, Track & Field, Girls Golf, Girls Soccer or
Girls Tennis.
