Attention Seniors … Please visit the East Entrance Security Kiosk to pick up your Senior collages today.

Yearbooks will be distributed in the cafeteria today from 2:16 to 3:30 p.m. You must show your photo ID or an Infinite Campus printout with your photo to pick up your yearbook. There will be a limited number of yearbooks for sale on a first-come, first-served basis. Cost is $80, cash or check payable to AHS. Seniors: You will pick up your books on the south side of the cafeteria. All other students will get their books on the north side of the cafeteria. You may not pick up books for friends or siblings today.  On Tuesday, May 12 through Thursday, May 14, books will be distributed during both lunches and after school in the cafeteria. Yearbooks must be picked up by Thursday, May 14 in order to get books cleared before final exams. Unclaimed books may be sold.  Additional yearbook signing page inserts will be on sale for $1.00. Eight blank pages for only a buck.

Attention Student Council members, ambassadors, and officers - we will have our final meeting of the year tomorrow in the Forum starting at 7:00 a.m. to discuss plans and expectations for the summer and the start of the fall semester

Attention all members of National Honor Society...  Our last meeting of the year is scheduled  for Wednesday after school in the Forum.  At this meeting, senior members can just turn in their service logs and leave, and then juniors will hold elections for next year's officers.  For service logs, you can also turn them in at Mr. Smith's desk in the science office any time before the end of the school year.  Juniors interested in running for office do not need to register ahead of time, but they should plan to speak about their qualifications for approximately one minute.

Attention incoming LINK leaders and A-team members:  Please join us in the large gym on Thursday for May Play Day.   We'll begin at 4:00 p.m. Wear comfortable clothes.  If you cannot attend, please see one of the sponsors.

Do you play drums?  Are you looking to become a better musician and performer?  The Arapahoe Percussion Ensemble is hosting their audition clinics this week starting today, Wednesday, and Friday at 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in the Band Room.  There will also be a parent meeting on Monday night beginning at 7:00 p.m.  You don't need any percussion experience and we will teach you!  Talk to Mr. Funk or Coach Dustin Arndt for more information.

Since we're coming to the end of the school year, we will need to collect the Connected Learners Chromebooks that we've loaned to students. If you have checked out one of our Chromebooks, you will need to bring it (and your charger) to your Language Arts final exam to turn in. If you have any questions, please see your Language Arts teacher or Mr. Fisch.

Seniors . . . We still have 17 Seniors that have a fine or a library book out. Please check the fine lists posted around the building.  You WILL NOT be able to pick up your cap and gown if you have any outstanding fines.

Attention students and parents . . . the school year is ending soon.  Do you have enough money in your lunch account to last until the end of the year?  Do you have a negative balance that needs to be paid?  Now is the time to watch lunch account balances and pay off any past due amounts.  As of May 4, students will not be permitted to charge.  Unsure of your balance?  Ask one of the kitchen staff or check your account at MySchoolBucks.com.

Lost and Found:  Please check the table in the cafeteria for clothing items and the Attendance Office for smaller items.   After this Friday, all items will be donated.

Athletics

Thank you fans for braving the weather and heading to Legacy Stadium Saturday afternoon to root on the boys Varsity lacrosse team.  It was a disappointing loss ... but doesn't take away from a memorable season and a great team of young men!  Fight on, Warriors!

Congratulations to the boys swim and dive team for a great performance at A League this weekend!  Five more swimmers were added to the state qualifying list, making a total of 22 swimmers and divers competing in this weekend’s state swim/dive meet at the Air Force Academy!  The following three were Centennial League Champions:  Diver Alan LeBlang, Swimmer Griffen Eiber in the 200 IM and 500 Free and Swimmer Ben Dufauchard in the 100 breaststroke.  The whole swim/dive team has had a fantastic season – way to go everyone!

Attention girls JV soccer players. Uniform check in and voting will take place this Wednesday at 2:30 in C-7.

For further details on any announcements see the Arapahoe web site.
Warriors always take care of one another.
