Announcements
The next homecoming event
is the bonfire on the baseball field tonight at 6:30. Student must have IDs in
order to be admitted. Please join us for the annual DECA
Homecoming Barbecue before the bonfire from 5:30 to 6:30! There will be burgers, hot dogs, and we are even
bringing back the old DECA cookies for the night...so come for dinner and watch
them start the fire!" Dress up for trick or treat in your
favorite costume for tomorrow and happy homecoming week!
Students,
we are as excited for Homecoming dress up days this week as you are! Please
remember that you need to follow all dress code rules: no masks, no weapons, no
underwear worn over clothing, and no inappropriate references on clothing.

There is an important FBLA meeting today after
school in room E-9. This is the first meeting where students will be able
to sign up for competitions.
Juniors,
time is running out! Today is the LAST day to register for the PSAT! So bring $15.00 and your student ID to the Guidance Center
and sign up for this very important test before it’s too late! For information on PSAT study sessions, please see Mrs.
Flinders in the Guidance Office.
Attention Students! Art Club will be meeting
every day this week to work on the homecoming float in E5 at 2:30.
Reminder
all students planning to attend the homecoming dance need to bring their AHS
student ID to get into the dance. Also, if you have completed and
returned a guest form, your guest will need to bring a photo ID with them
. Thank you!
Hey everybody, this
weekend our Speech and Debate novices competed at Regis Jesuit High School. 6
out of our seven competitors scored an Excellence Award with our 7th
competitor, Allyson Olson, scoring a Superior award. Great job everyone!
Parents of Seniors; this
Friday, Oct. 9th, is the deadline for putting your “memory ad” in
the Yearbook for your Senior. Begin by going to www.yearbookordercenter.com . Memory ads begin as low as $75, and your senior will
be anxious to see it next Spring when the yearbooks arrive.
Athletics
Congratulations to Warrior Golfers! David
Packer, Tyler Martinez, Austin Duffy and Tom Packer finished 5th at the State
Championships in Ft Collins yesterday. David shot 74, 74 for a 148 total and
Tyler had the best individual round of 72. Way to go Warriors!
Congratulations
to the Arapahoe Volleyball Program as they trampled the Mullen Mustangs last
night for their Homecoming and Think Pink Night! Each level won without
dropping a game. Make sure to come support the girls next Monday at
home when they face off against Chatfield...we want our home crowd to fill the
stands! GO WARRIORS!

Wrestling is now open. If you haven't already registered for the 2015-16
Wrestling Season, please register online at ahswarriors.org or arapahoewrestling.org.
Yesterday,
the Boys’ Varsity Soccer team defeated Overland High School by a score of 2-0.
Wilmer Ramirez and Dylan Peppelaar scored for Arapahoe. Stellar defense led by
James Conley, Evan Bunch, Sam Norman and Trevor Young sealed the shutout. The
Junior Varsity beat Overland by a score of 3-2. Great job Warriors!
All Boys interested in Swimming and Diving...we
will have a mandatory meeting beginning at 2:30 - Thursday, October 8thin the Forum.
Attention AHS Baseball Players and Parents: The first AHS Baseball Booster Club meeting for
the 2015/2016 school year is set Monday, Oct. 12th, at 7:00pm in the Forum. Coach Muller will be discussing the
baseball program, winter workouts, strength and conditioning, etc. The
Booster Board will also be addressing important dates, fundraising and Fall
Field Day, which is Oct. 25th. Please plan on attending the
meeting. Parents and players are welcome (freshman
parent(s) and player are required).
