General Announcements
Trick or treat! Are you ready for Homecoming Week next week?
The theme is Halloween Town and the dress days are as follows: Monday,
Mathlete Day; Tuesday, Comic-Con day; Wednesday, Wacky Tacky Day; Thursday, Trick or Treat Costume Day; and Friday, Spirit
Day. Remember, each class earns points by dressing up for theme days for the
class competition, so be sure to show your spirit!
Hey Key
Clubbers! Just a reminder that all registration forms and fees are due no later
than Monday,
October 5th. Due to our national registration requirements, you will not
be recognized as an official member if you do not meet that deadline. You may
turn in your registration forms to Ms. McVey in the social studies office
anytime this week, or bring them to the meeting Monday after school.
Athletics
All
AHS pre-sale Arapahoe vs Heritage football tickets have SOLD OUT. Some
tickets will be available for purchase at the LPSS ticket booth starting
at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, October 2nd. Blackout shirts will still be
available for purchase today during both lunches. The cost is $15. Quantities
are limited so come get ‘em and show your Arapahoe spirit! It's a great day to be a
Warrior!
The
Warrior Volleyball Program had a great showing last night against
Grandview...Freshman and Sophomores both won. Varsity defeated the Wolves in a
grueling 5-game match! Thank you to our student section who came out and
cheered us on to victory! Be sure to come to our Homecoming match against
Mullen next
Tuesday...Varsity starts at 6.15 in the Sitting Eagle Gymnasium. This is
also our Think Pink Night to raise money for Breast Cancer Research...so wear
pink and cheer on the team!! GO WARRIORS!!
Yesterday,
the Boys’ Varsity Soccer team beat Eaglecrest High School by a score of 2-0.
Griffin Hampton and Jacob Draudt scored the Arapahoe goals in another
outstanding team effort. The Arapahoe Junior Varsity was victorious as well.

Snaps to the Varsity
softball team for defeating Overland 18-1 yesterday and congrats to the JV team
as well for their 23 to 3 win! The Warriors had an excellent day on offense
with a total of 18 hits including home runs by Dasia Vavrik and McKenna Klein.
Awesome job ladies! The Lady Warriors are back in action tomorrow against
Smoky Hill. Game time is at 11 am at DeKoevand Park. Come out and
support this group of hardworking athletes!
All Boys interested in Swimming and Diving...we will have a
mandatory meeting beginning at 2:30 - Thursday, October 8thin
the Forum.
