Attention All Juniors And Seniors: The 2016 trip to Washington D.C. is here again!  This trip is an amazing opportunity to experience Washington D.C. and Capitol Hill first hand. There will be a parent meeting for those interested today at 6 PM in the Room E-9.  Please feel free to join your parent, and if you are unable to attend the meeting, please see Mr. Hawthorne or Mr. Meyer in the Social Studies department.

Inherit the Wind opens tomorrow night. You can still but your tickets at lunch. It's $5.00 for students, and $7.00 or adults. The show is at 7:00 this Thursday, Friday and Saturday night. Come see this wonderful performance by the AHS Drama Club.

Looking for a job?  Not happy with the job you currently have?  There are companies currently looking to hire!  Come see Mr. Sawyer in the Business Department to get more information about available jobs.    

Wonderland?! Wizard of Oz? Night Under the Stars?! Let’s get started on thinking of Prom themes, Juniors! If you have any great ideas or just want to contribute, come to S9 on Friday mornings at 6:45. We would love to have your help in planning prom!
   
Great News Student Warriors!! This week is National School Lunch Week.  In observance of this special week, every time you purchase one breakfast meal and one lunch meal per day, your name will be entered in a raffle to possibly win a prize. One Grand Prize will be awarded:  A Portable Bluetooth Speaker, and two Runner-Up Prizes: iTunes Gift Cards. Winners will be announced next week.  See you at Lunch!!

Attention Warriors!  If you are playing in the DECAween Dodgeball Tournament then you are required to attend one of the two rules meetings.  These meetings will take place Monday at 2:30 in the Forum and Tuesday at 5:30 also in the Forum.  Once again attendance at one of these two meetings is required and you will not be able to play if you do not attend. 

Juniors and Seniors:  Anyone interested in taking a Concurrent Enrollment class next semester at Arapahoe Community College should plan on attending a meeting today during both lunches in the Forum. This is another great opportunity to earn both high school and college credit. Please see your counselor for more information.

Lost and Found: Students, please check the table in the cafeteria for clothing items and the Attendance Office for smaller items. All items will be donated at the end of the week.​

Athletics

Varsity Volleyball lost a tough battle last night against Cherry Creek in 5 games...thanks to everyone who came and supported the Warriors! Don't forget that Senior Night is this Thursday. Come cheer the Warriors on to victory against Cherokee Trail! GO WARRIORS!

All girls interested in playing for the Lady Warriors basketball team this winter, should come out to our last week of open gym before preseason camp begins next week. This is a great opportunity to practice before camp and tryouts. If you would like to try out for the team, please make sure you attend preseason camp next week. For any questions, please see Ms. Hancock in the Langauge Arts Department.  
  
Attention all girls interested in playing Lacrosse this spring:  There will be a mandatory meeting today in the AHS Forum from 6:30pm - 8pm.   We will be discussing important dates and information as it relates to the 2016 season.  Please plan on attending!!

Hey Warriors!  Winter sports registration is now open.  Pink Cards will be distributed in the cafeteria during lunches on WEDNESDAYS.  Please remember that you must have a current physical on file with the athletic office and be registered online before you can receive your pink card.
