Announcements
Former Students of Powell Middle School, please
refrain from "visiting" Powell Middle School during their school
hours (7:45 am-2:43 pm). You are only allowed to
be on their campus if you have communicated with the teacher you are planning
to "visit" ahead of time, and scheduled a visit with them after
school hours. If you are discovered on campus or in the school without prior
permission, you will be told to leave. If you continue to come on campus
after being told to leave, you may be ticketed.
The Toys for Tots delivery to Gilpin Montessori Public School has
been rescheduled for this Friday from 12:15 to 3:30. If you have already turned
in a permission slip, please come by the attendance office as soon as possible to
let us know if you are still planning to come.
Attention all artists
and writers! The FINAL deadline for submitting your work to the Muse is Friday. You will be entered into a Chipotle gift card raffle
for every piece you submit. See the muse website under the activities
page for details on how to submit your work.
Hey Warriors! This weekend the Speech and Debate
Team competed at the Winter Wonder at Cherry Creek High School and everyone did
an amazing job. A special shout out to Matthew Parone for scoring 4th place in
Drama; Ryan Snow and Kathleen Burns for placing 4th in Varsity CX; John
Griffin and Bella Boecker for placing 3rd in JV CX; and Caleb O'Hayre for
earning superior speaker. Excellent job!
This week,
all areas of the library, with the exception of the study rooms, are silent
study only. Please plan ahead should you need to complete group
work. Study rooms are available for this purpose on a first come, first
served basis. A study room may be reserved ahead of time by using the link on
the AHS Library web page or by talking with a library staff member.
Athletics
Congratulations to the Cheerleaders on their
AWESOME performances at State over the weekend!! They advanced to finals on Saturday and
placed 4th overall! Way to make Arapahoe proud!
Hey Warriors – just a reminder that you need to bring your student I.D. to all home games in order to get in free with your SBA pass. Bringing your fees up within your portal account on your cell phone will no longer be an alternate method for providing proof of an SBA pass. You may also take a picture of your student ID with your phone and present your cell phone to the ticket taker at the gym door to show you have an SBA pass. Student ID’s from previous school years will also not be honored for free admission. See you at the next home game – Go Warriors!
For further details on any
announcements see the Arapahoe web site.
