Announcements
HO! HO! HO! Warriors! Thank you all so much for of your
contributions to the Toys for Tots Drive! We have collected so many toys for
the kids at Gilpin Montessori and the Denver Indian Center, and they’re still
coming in. Please join us for the wrapping party today at 2:30 in the
cafeteria! We need all the extra hands we can get! Hope to see you there!
Muse is still accepting submissions for
the literary magazine. Tomorrow, one lucky student will be the
winner of a gift card, so submit your work before then to be eligible.
Have you taken the time to thank a warrior today? Students, please show
your gratitude to fellow students and staff members by filling out a thank you
card and giving it to a friend or having it sent to a teacher. Blank cards are
available in Guidance, Attendance, the Study Center, the Library and in the
departmental offices. Feel free to drop off your cards in Guidance for delivery
to a staff member and give your cards for other students directly to that
person. Please see Ms. Kershaw or Mrs. McNiff in Guidance with questions!
Attention
Key Clubbers! This is a very busy time of year for us and we have lots of
important events scheduled for the next few weeks. Please make a point to
attend this afternoon’s meeting if possible. This meeting will include a
mandatory training for anyone wishing to participate in the Jiminy Wicket
events. Hope to see you all there!
Here’s
an important reminder to brand new members of National Honor Society: Our
induction ceremony is tonight at 6:00 pm. Our mandatory rehearsal is right
after school at 2:30 in
the theater, and it will last less than an hour. You will need to be back
in the theater between 5:30
and 5:45 for this important event. See you
today right after school!
Are you a
Freshman interested in running for a Student Council office? Come to one of our
Intent to Run meetings tomorrow at 7 am or 2:30 p.m. in room
C21. Find out what it means to represent your class in student government at
Arapahoe.
Attention Students! Due to faculty meetings
tomorrow the library will close at 1:45 to prepare. Sorry for the inconvenience. The
library will be back to regular hours on Wednesday.
Athletics
Attention lady warriors...if you are interested
in playing soccer in the spring, there is an informational meeting tomorrow after
school at 2:30 in
