Announcements
Attention Teachers and Staff! We students would like to
give you all a most gracious thank you for all of the hard work and time you
have dedicated to us during our short time here at Arapahoe. Wishing you a
happy Staff Appreciation Day!
HO! HO! HO! Warriors! We have collected so many toys for our
Toys for Tots drive and the toy box was overflowing this morning! We truly
appreciate all of your contributions and so will the kids at Gilpin Montessori
and the Denver Indian Center. Keep bringing those toys in and join us for the
wrapping party this Monday at 2:30 in the cafeteria! Hope to see you there!
Muse is still
accepting submissions for the literary magazine. This coming Tuesday,
one lucky student will be the winner of a gift card, so submit your work before
then to be eligible.
Have you taken the time to thank a warrior today? Students, please show
your gratitude to fellow students and staff members by filling out a thank you
card and giving it to a friend or having it sent to a teacher. Blank cards are
available in Guidance, Attendance, the Study Center, the Library and in the
departmental offices. Feel free to drop off your cards in Guidance for delivery
to a staff member and give your cards for other students directly to that
person. Please see Ms. Kershaw or Mrs. McNiff in Guidance with questions!
Here’s an important reminder to brand new members of National Honor
Society: Our induction ceremony is Monday night
at 6:00 pm.
Our mandatory dress rehearsal is Monday after
school at 2:30 in the theater, and it will last
less than an hour. You will need to be back in the theater between 5:30 and 5:45 for
this important event.
Are you a Freshman interested in running for a Student Council office?
Come to one of our Intent to Run meetings this Tuesday at 7 am or 2:30 p.m. in
room C21. Find out what it means to represent your class in student government
at Arapahoe.
Athletics
The Boys basketball Team beat Mountain Vista last night
in a total team win. Thanks to the Arapahoe Tribe! You truly are the best 6th
man in the state! Tonight we play Monarch at Mountain Vista at 7:30! Need that crazy atmosphere again!
