Attention
Seniors: Your Senior Class Panoramic Picture Retake will be taken tomorrow at noon in the
Main Gym. Remember - this is the only time pictures will be taken of the entire
Senior Class, so DON'T MISS OUT! BE THERE tomorrow at noon!
Finals can really make a person hungry! The whole student
body is invited to a free pancake breakfast at 12:00 in
the cafeteria on tomorrow. Hope to see you there!
Former Students of Powell Middle School, please refrain from
"visiting" Powell Middle School during their school hours (7:45 am-2:43 pm). You are only allowed to be on their
campus if you have communicated with the teacher you are planning to
"visit" ahead of time, and scheduled a visit with them after school
hours. If you are discovered on campus or in the school without prior permission,
you will be told to leave. If you continue to come on campus after being
told to leave, you may be ticketed.
The Toys for Tots delivery to Gilpin Montessori Public School is
this Wednesday from12:15 to 3:30. Any students interested in joining us need to
turn in their permission slip to the Attendance Office today. Please bring a
sack lunch and wear festive clothing. Spots are going fast.
Attention all artists
and writers! The FINAL deadline for submitting your work to the Muse is this Friday. You will be entered into a Chipotle gift card
raffle for every piece you submit. See the muse website under the activities
page for details on how to submit your work.
Attention Seniors: The
yearbook staff has posted your senior portraits and biographies in the east
hallway next to room E-8. Please stop by to check your photo and bio for
accuracy.
This week, all
areas of the library, with the exception of the study rooms, are silent study
only. Please plan ahead should you need to complete group work. Study
rooms are available for this purpose on a first come, first served basis. A
study room may be reserved ahead of time by using the link on the AHS Library
web page or by talking with a library staff member.
Athletics
Your Arapahoe Lady Hoops Varsity team dominated Heritage Friday night
with a Win 49-35. Top scorers were Eliana Kearby (14), Katie Crowley (11)
and Maddie Mathews (10). Great team rebounding & Jordyn Vega lead in steals.
It was a great Team effort! The C team won against Heritage as well 38-36
in double overtime. Nelly Alger had the game winning shot. Come support your
Lady Warriors tomorrow night
here at Arapahoe against Chaparral at 7pm.
Hey Warriors – just a reminder that you need to bring your student I.D. to all home games in order to get in free with your SBA pass. Bringing your fees up within your portal account on your cell phone will no longer be an alternate method for providing proof of an SBA pass. You may also take a picture of your student ID with your phone and present your cell phone to the ticket taker at the gym door to show you have an SBA pass. Student ID’s from previous school years will also not be honored for free admission. See you at the next home game – Go Warriors!
For further details on any
announcements see the Arapahoe web site.
