Attention Key Clubbers! We would like to remind you about our Key Club party today after our meeting. We will be providing food, games, and
music for all Key Club members to celebrate the amazing work you've done so far
this year! Hope to see you there!
The PSAT results are back! Please come to the
Guidance Office to pick up your score report and test booklet. These resources
are a great way to study for your next standardized exam.
Is there someone extra special in your life? A
love? A friend? A secret crush? The class of 2018 is selling Valentines during
both lunches today through Thursday in the cafeteria! They are just $1 and
will be delivered during 3rd period on Friday.
Feed your mind and your stomach by joining the
world of e-books at the AHS Library. Starting this week, a winner of a $10 gift
card to a local eatery will be randomly drawn from those students who have
checked out and downloaded an AHS e-book during the current week. Winners will
be announced in the library at the end of second lunch each Friday for five
weeks beginning this Friday, February 12. Take a chance to grow both your intellect and your
waistline!
Athletics
The Arapahoe Girls Swim and Dive team soared to a
second place finish this weekend at the Centennial League Championship

and third place. Sophomore Delaney Smith broke the team record in the 100
Backstroke and won the 200 IM. Junior Laurel Eiber broke the team and league
records in the 50 Free and 100 Fly and won both events. The 100 Fly team record
was 16 years old! The meet was capped off with a team, pool, and league record
in the 400 Free Relay. Members on that relay include Smith, Eiber, Freshman
Gabreece VanAnne and Junior Sarah Siayap. The team now shifts their focus to
the state meet this Friday and Saturday in
Fort Collins. They are taking a total of 19 swimmers and divers.
Congratulations to all A-League swimmers and divers and Good Luck to those
competing at State!
