Announcements
Sophomores
and Juniors: Anyone interested in taking a Concurrent Enrollment class next fall at Arapahoe Community College
should plan on attending a meeting today during 4th period in the Forum.
This meeting will take place during both lunches, so feel free to bring
your lunch with you. Applications will be available at that time. The
deadline to register for Concurrent
Enrollment classes is February 29th. This is another great opportunity to earn both high school
and college credit. Please see your counselor for more information.
Hey Warriors! Registration for the 3-on-3 March
Madness Basketball tournament is happening this week. Each team will consist of
two boys and two girls, with only 1 boy and 1 girl Arapahoe basketball player
allowed per team. First come first serve! There are only 20 spots available!
Pick up your registration packet in the Business Office so you can be a part of
this exciting new event and help a good cause.
Are you interested in cars? Do you want to
explore the world of a mechanic? Then sign up for Arapahoe Community College’s
Automotive Technology program. It counts for both high school and college
credit. More details can be found in the counseling office or on the ACC
website.
Come support your Unified Warriors in another home
game tomorrow night at 7 pm in
the big gym. Let’s see if Maddie will score from the right side or the
left side of the key, and let’s join Becca by leading the crowd in thunderous
cheers!
Athletics
Come cheer on your boys basketball team tonight! This
is our last home game of the regular season and we must beat Creek! It's
senior night as well and a white out. We need a big loud warrior crowd! Go
Warriors!
Congratulations to Arapahoe Wrestler Tyler
Eaton. Tyler wrestled very well last Friday and Saturday in
the regional tournament. Tyler's success has advanced him to the State
Wrestling Championship Tournament at the Pepsi Center, February 18th through 20th. Please congratulate him and wish him well at State!
The Arapahoe Varsity Girls Basketball Team play
at Cherry Creek tonight at 7 pm. Friday is
SENIOR night at Arapahoe against Cherokee Trail starting at 6:30 pm. Come out and support your Lady Warriors!
Senior, Jordyn Vega, has
been selected as a semifinalist for the Aspire Athlete of the Week
Award. Jordyn has been selected for her "'greatness" demonstrated in
athletics, academics, community involvement & character.” She is a captain
on the girls’ basketball team and a great leader at Arapahoe. Please go
to www.ASPIREathleteoftheweek.com/denver to vote for Jordyn. Voting ends
tomorrow at 10am.

Warriors! Spring sports registration is now open. Pink Cards
will be distributed in the cafeteria during lunches starting Monday, February 22
thru Wednesday, February 24th. Please remember that you
must have a current physical on file with the athletic office and be registered
online before you can receive your pink card. More information regarding
spring sports can be found on the athletic website at www.ahswarriors.org.
Boys’ Swim and Dive season officially begins Monday, Feb. 29th. If you haven’t registered for the Boys’ Swim/Dive team, please go to:www.ahsboysswimdive.com and register your athlete. Remember; when you register, the registration pays for the suit and the team T shirt. No extra cost.THEN go to: www.outofbreathsports.com to order correct sizes of the suit, T shirt---and any other merchandise you may wish to purchase. The first order has already been sent, but you can still get in on the second order, but please do it asap. Thanks.
