Announcements
Congratulations to DECA on their record setting
performance at the State Competition! We came home with 8 honor mentions,
26 finalists, and 14 national qualifiers! Great job!!
Attention
boys volleyball players! Anyone interested in playing volleyball this spring
must attend tryouts. Tryouts are being held from 6-9pm at
Littleton High School all this week. No forms or fees, just show up ready to
play! Remember that tonight is
the Parent Meeting at 8pm at
Littleton. See Coach Wright for further details.
Any current Arapahoe, Littleton or Heritage
high school students interested in taking the Swim Waiver on Thursday, March 10th@ 6:00am at the AHS pool need to send an email
to Mrs. Leyden or stop by the Women's PE office to sign up. There are
only 15 spaces available for the test. The test will be over in time for you to
attend your first hour class.
Congratulations to the Unified team on winning
their final home game against ThunderRidge on Monday night! The score was 70-54.
Some of the stand outs of the game were Logan, Kyle, and Gwen.
Athletics
The Arapahoe Varsity Girls Basketball team won
their first round playoff game against Pomona last night 57-39. Top scorers
were Maddie Matthews 20 points and Katie Crowley 13 points. Top rebounders were
Maddie Matthews, Amanda Brenner & Jordyn Vega. There was a nice block by
Ellie Kearby. Nice team work to gain the win! The next playoff game is Friday night at Fossil Ridge High School.

Warriors! Your boys basketball team will host Rocky Mountain tonight at 7:00 p.m. in the Main Gym for their first round
of the 5A tournament. No SBA passes will be accepted at tournament
games. Ticket prices are $7 for adults and $5 for students. We will
be pre-selling tickets for the game during lunches in the cafeteria. Good
luck to the team as they travel down the road of the tournament. Go
Warriors!!
Tennis Camp will start at 3:15 today
due to the Faculty Meeting. Tennis players are encouraged to go out to
the courts after school and practice until camp starts at 3:15.

Warriors! Spring sports registration is now open. Pink Cards
will be distributed in the cafeteria during lunches today. Please remember
that you must have a current physical on file with the athletic office and be
registered online before you can receive your pink card. More information
regarding spring sports can be found on the athletic website at www.ahswarriors.org.
