General Announcements
Have you been looking for a chance to support our
troops overseas? Well, now's your chance! Donate deodorant, toothpaste,
toothbrushes, and other personal toiletries in the boxes around the
school and your sophomore student council class will send packages to
support the troops. You can drop off toiletries in the counseling office, the activities/attendance and
the library. If you have any questions please contact Mrs. Abner, Mrs. McNiff,
or a sophomore student council representative.

Faculty- As part of your Staff Appreciation
Week which is February 13th through the 17th, Student Council Freshman class is
providing you with lunch on Valentine's Day to say thanks for all that you do.
So, please do not bring your lunch on
Valentine's Day: February 14th.

our school!
Athletics
Good Luck to the Arapahoe Varsity Cheer
team as they head to Orlando to compete in the National High School Cheer
Competition this weekend!
Anyone interested
in being a part of the 2017 Arapahoe Warrior track and field team
should attend an informational meeting Monday at 2:30 in Room W-1529. We
will be discussing the upcoming spring season and our 6th annual
track camp. Come and be a part of the Arapahoe track family and
help build something great. If you are currently in a winter sport and unable
to attend please see Coach Lienemann sometime before the end of the week.
Any girls that are interested in playing
Lacrosse this spring - Please remember to register for the upcoming
season! Registration is on our website at ahswarriors.org. Tryouts start February 27th and you must be registered
before you can try out! See you on the field this spring!!

a delicious meal at Hodsons Bar and Grill in Southglenn and support your AHS
Girls Basketball team.
Mention AHS when you dine on Tuesday February
21st from 6 - 9 and the AHS Girls Basketball Program will receive 20%
of the sales.
Last chance to support your Freshmen and Sophomore Boys Basketball team Warriors, as tournaments wrap up! Freshmen play at Eagle Crest High School at 10:00 am Saturday, February 11. Sophomores play at 10:00 am Saturday at Cherry Creek High School. Varsity and JV teams also each play later Saturday.
This past Wednesday, our
Varsity team beat Cherry Creek, and JV stretched to double overtime before
losing by 2. Come out to Smoky Hill on Saturday, February 11 to cheer
for the guys. JV game at1:00, Varsity tip at 2:30.
Unity through
Unified is Back!!!! Our Unified Eagles will play both Heritage and Littleton
High Schools on one night. Next Wednesday, February 15th @ 6 pm at
Heritage High School. Arapahoe needs to represent and Pack the Gym. You
may make a donation at the door and which will give you a chance to win a
signed Denver Nuggets Basketball.
This is going to be
Epic!!!! Look for the signs throughout the building with more details.

AHS Swim wavers Thursday March 16th @ 6:00am in
the AHS pool. This is the last time the
swim waiver will be given this semester. The test is limited to the first 15
students that sign up. Deadline for sign up is Monday March 6th. You
must register with Mrs. Leyden @ jleyden@lps.k.12.co.us
Criteria for passing the test is on the AHS
website.
