General Announcements
Congratulations to our Warrior Winter Guard! They placed 2nd out of 8
teams this past Saturday at Mesa Ridge HS for their first show of the
season! Scoring a total of 65.65 out 100, they were less than 3 points away
from 1st Place. Cheer on the team as they compete next at the Loveland HS
Competition on February 18th. Way to go Guard! "
Congratulations to
our Speech and Debate team for their recent tournament results.
They attended the
National Congress Qualifiers at Douglas County High School on January 27th and
28th, and one of our students is second-runner up for the "House One"
Colorado position. Well done!
The team also
competed this past weekend at the Denver Public Schools Invite. We came away
with a Presiding Officer position, 1st and 2nd places in poetry, 3rd place in
Novice LD Debate, and 1st place in JV Cross Examination Debate. Excellent
results!
Wish the team luck
towards their upcoming tournament on February 18th.
Free Alive @ 25
class TOMORROW, February 7th at 2:30pm in room W1874. If you are
voluntarily taking the class the Sheriff's Office pays for your $79 fee.
If you are 15 1/2 you can get drivers permit after taking the class and a lot of
insurance companies will give you a discount. This is a 4 1/2 hour class. Sign
up on-line. Any questions ask Deputy Englert.
College Night will
start promptly at 6;00 pm tonight. Please arrive in time to park and make your
way to the theater. You may access the building through the east doors
and through the north doors by the Forum. See you tonight!
Athletics
Hey Warriors, would you like to see the most spirited Team at Arapahoe?
Well if you come to
the Sitting Eagle Gym on Wednesday night you will see your Unified
Eagles take on the Columbine Rebels at 7 pm. We are on a winning streak,
so come and cheer us on to a victory.
Congratulations to our Girls Swim Dive
team! Our Lady Water Warriors dominated the Centennial League
Championships and won with a score of 956 points!
Boys Lacrosse Registration is now open.
If you plan to try out for the Spring Roster you must register by TODAY. Go to
the Lacrosse Club website to register at ahslax.org and come
to the Pre-Tryout Meeting on February 7th at 6:30pm in the Cafeteria.
