General Announcements
Hey New Link Crew
Leaders. Don't forget--our May Play Day for Link Crew is this afternoon from
4-6 in the main gym. Can't wait to get started! See you there.
Yearbooks
will be distributed on Monday, May 15 from 2:20 to 3:00 p.m. in the cafeteria. You must show a photo ID
or an Infinite Campus printout with your photo to pick up your yearbook. You
must pay your fees to the bookkeeper to pick up your yearbook. See the AHS
website for more details.
To see whether you
ordered a yearbook, check your Infinite Campus account or the Bookkeeper’s
Corner for a list. You must pay your fees to the bookkeeper to get your
yearbook. There may be a limited number of yearbooks for sale on May 15 on a
first-come, first-served basis. Cost is $80, cash or check payable to AHS.
From Tuesday, May 16
through Thursday, May 18, books will be distributed during both lunches and
after school in the cafeteria. Yearbooks that are not picked up by Wednesday,
May 17 and are unclaimed may be sold.
Seniors (and any other students not returning to AHS next year), if you want to take your Google Docs with you, please check your email and/or the AHS website for instructions on how to do that. Students who graduate from AHS (or leave to go to another school) will have their accounts deleted over the summer, so please make sure you have taken anything you want before then.
Looking for plans
this Friday night? How about seeing a show? The improv show and company
showcase start at 6:00 tomorrow night in the AHS auditorium. Come see
students from these classes perform with their final grades on the line, and
the best part is - you have a say in who wins. So, come show your support
tomorrow night at 6:00.
Attention artists who
had their artwork displayed in this
years Art Attack. The show has been
taken down. Please be sure to talk to your art teacher in class or stop by the
Art Office to pick up your art work no late than THIS Friday the 12th
Collages from After
Prom are available to be picked up by the kiosk near the Bubble.
Do you have any
finals that require a presentation? How about a final that is a speech? If
you've got some public-speaking-related finals, let the Speech and Debate Team
help! Today, in room C 1452, members of the Speech and Debate team will be
available to help their peers practice public speaking and presentation skills.
Come on out, any time between 2:30 and 3:30. The team will be available
next week as well!"
All students registering for A.P. Literature and Composition next year need to pick up their summer reading packets from Ms. LeClair’s desk in the Language Arts office. The assignment is also available on her website.
Attention
girls hoping to try out for volleyball next fall. We will have open
gyms on Tuesday nights from 6.30-9 pm, now until finals week!
Please show up early to help set up nets. No forms or fees, just show up ready
to play! GO WARRIORS!
Come
out and support your ABK as they take on Thunder Ridge High School on
Friday at Shea Stadium. Game time is still to be determined.
