General Announcements
Student Council would like to thank all who
voted in our office election last week. We had many amazing candidates! You
have voted in a group of dedicated Class Officers and we look forward to their
leadership in the 2071-2018 school year. Congratulations to all of you!
Yearbooks
will be distributed on Monday, May 15 from 2:20 to 3:00 p.m. in the cafeteria. You must show a photo ID
or an Infinite Campus printout with your photo to pick up your yearbook. You
must pay your fees to the bookkeeper to pick up your yearbook. See the AHS
website for more details.
To see whether you
ordered a yearbook, check your Infinite Campus account or the Bookkeeper’s
Corner for a list. You must pay your fees to the bookkeeper to get your
yearbook. There may be a limited number of yearbooks for sale on May 15 on a
first-come, first-served basis. Cost is $80, cash or check payable to AHS.
From Tuesday, May 16
through Thursday, May 18, books will be distributed during both lunches and
after school in the cafeteria. Yearbooks that are not picked up by Wednesday,
May 17 and are unclaimed may be sold.
Tonight is the night for the Theatre Topics Improv show and Company Showcase! We need lots of great suggestions from the audience, so come be a part of this annual tradition. Then stick around to see the best actors and technicians in school perform scenes, monologues, and show off their designs. It all starts at 6:00 pm, admission is FREE!
Do you have any finals that require a presentation? How about a final that is a speech? If you've got some public-speaking-related finals, let the Speech and Debate Team help! On Tuesday, May 16th and Thursday, May 18th, Speech and Debate team members will be available in room C1452 to help their peers practice public speaking and presentation skills. Come on out, from 2:30 to 3:30 pm on Tuesday or Thursday.

Prom are available to be picked up by the kiosk near the Bubble.
All students
registering for A.P. Literature and Composition next year need to pick up their
summer reading packets from Ms. LeClair’s desk in the Language Arts office. The
assignment is also available on her website.
Students – Please
check the Attendance Office for any items you may have lost during the school
year such as: student ID’s, wallets, glasses, jewelry and keys. A lot has been
turned in, so come see if any of it belongs to you.
Please come out and support your Ladies ABK soccer team as they take on Thunder Ridge this afternoon at 4:30 at Shea Stadium in Highlands Ranch. This is a 2nd round playoff game and the team can use all the support they can get! So come out to the game and cheer loud for your Warriors!
It’s playoff season for Girls Lacrosse!! The Girls lacrosse team faces Columbine Tonight, Friday, at 7 P.M. at Trailblazer Stadium. Come out and support your warriors!
Please come out tomorrow to
support the boys varsity lacrosse team as they face off against Mountain Vista
for the second round of the Playoffs. The game is Saturday at 3
pm and Legacy Stadium. Go Warriors!
The Club Rugby team has advanced to the State Semi-finals. The game is this
Saturday at 5:30 pm at Dicks Sporting Park
against Northside. Please come out and support us!
Attention all boys interested in playing
soccer next fall; there will be a mandatory meeting Tuesday the 16th at 2:30 in room 1471.
Come see your AHS Baseball team compete in Districts
this Saturday at Regis High School. Game
times not yet posted
Attention
girls hoping to try out for volleyball next fall. We will have open
gyms on Tuesday nights from 6.30-9 pm, now until finals week!
Please show up early to help set up nets. No forms or fees, just show up ready
to play! GO WARRIORS!
