 General Announcements             

*We had a great showing at the DECA State competition last weekend.  26 of our 51 competitors were called back for Finals. Huge congratulations to Annalise Cote, Chloe Fretzs, Vivian LaScola, Brody Mackenzie, and Molly Winslow who qualified for Nationals. Good luck in ATLANTA!


*Our AHS Unified program will be leading our first ever ‘Inclusion Week’ (next week) which is a national awareness campaign celebrating belonging, acceptance and participation of people of all abilities in school, workplaces and communities.   We will kick off our ‘Inclusion Week’ on Monday, March 2nd with a school assembly during TRIBE.  Look for other inclusive activities throughout the week.


*Come check the Lost & Found tables in the cafeteria.  We have over 60 water bottles and 25 hoodies & jackets waiting to be claimed!


*The AHS capstone group 'Chance for Childrens' is raising money and fundraising to make gift bags for children in the NICU and cancer center at Children's Hospital. They will be hosting a toy and blanket drive from March 9th -13th and all donations must be unused. Donation baskets will be located at the forum and the bubble entrances.


*Butter Braids for Band - support the AHS instrumental music programs and enjoy some delicious butter braids.  Order by March 6th. Pick up will be March 14th. Order online at https://www.arapahoebandboosters.com/butter-braids-2026/


Athletics

*Come out and support your Boys LPS Volleyball teams TONIGHT @ AHS against Denver East. Varsity will play at 6:30pm after JV plays at 5:30pm.  The C team will play at 4:30pm. 


*Get ready to pack the stands at HOME for your Girls Varsity Basketball team TOMORROW @ 1:30pm against Fossil Ridge in the 2nd round of the 5A CHSAA Basketball playoffs! No AHS Athletic Passes may be used.  Tickets are $8 for adults and $6 for students.


*Good luck to the Boys and Girls Track & Field team TOMORROW at HOME against Cherokee Trail starting at 8:00am.


*Congratulations to your Boys Swimming and Diving team on a very respectful and hard fought loss last night at Cherry Creek.  Your boys won an impressive three individual events against last year's state champs and will be in action again next Thursday, March 5th at HOME against defending 4A state champions, Mullen.
