 General Announcements

*Come join us for an evening of beautiful music at our Instrumental Music Concert TONIGHT starting at 7:00pm in the theater.  


*Attention Freshmen! Hearing and Vision screening is taking place ALL WEEK. You will be called out during your U.S. History class for testing. Please be sure to wear your glasses or contacts to school.


*Get ready to cheer on your Unified Basketball team TOMORROW at Eaglecrest @ 4:15pm.  Let’s Unify with Unified!


*Warriors - Today is the Skilled Trades Fair in the Post- Secondary Center. Visit with Colorado Mountain College at 11:30am and WYO TECH at 1:00pm!  Learn about  hands-on careers in as little as 6 months and apprenticeships, certifications, and degrees in high paying skilled trades.  Sign up in Scoir or stop into S1401 with questions.  TOMORROW Rocky Mountain School of Art & Design and The University of Alabama will be in the PSC. *In today’s What We Learn from Black History, we recognize and learn about Dr. Kizzmekia Corbett.  She is an immunologist who helped lead the development of the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine. She has made contributions to public health and mentored students in STEM fields. Dr. Corbett’s dedication and expertise continue to impact science and society. A Fun Fact about Dr. Corbett - she was named one of TIME’s 100 most influential people in 2021 and a quote from her - “Science can’t do everything, but it can do a lot.”



Athletics

*If you are interested in playing Girls Golf this Spring, you and your parents must attend the Girls Golf Meeting on Thursday, February 12th at 6:00pm in the Forum.  Please see Coach Riordan in the World Language Office with any questions.


*Attention all Girls interested in playing AHS Soccer this spring.  Registration is now open and preseason communication has been sent out.  If you are not registered, please do so as soon as possible!  If you have not received any  preseason communication, please see Coach Hayes in the PE department.  


*Warriors - thanks to all the fans that cheered on our Girls Varsity Basketball team against Cherry Creek on Friday!  We need you to REPEAT that energy TOMORROW against Eaglecrest at Eaglecrest @ 7:00pm.  Put together your carpool and bring the HEAT! See you Wednesday night!
