In continuation of Safe Schools Week, tomorrow is Yellow Ribbon
Day. Wear yellow to school to promote
our community’s awareness of keeping ourselves and others healthy and
safe.
A
reminder to speech and debate team members that the team's weekly meeting and
practice takes place today after school in Room C15 at 2:30. Still
interested in speech and debate but haven't attended a meeting yet? Interested
students are welcome anytime --please join us.
Sophomores, don’t forget about the opportunity to take the PLAN,
a practice ACT test, on Saturday, November 2nd! Register in the Guidance
Office now through October 28th. The cost is $15.
Attention
dodgeball players! The final rules meeting will be held today at 5:30 p.m. in
the Forum for all competitors participating in the DECA Dodgeball tournament. Remember it is mandatory for every member
participating on a team to attend a meeting. If you do not attend a rules
meeting, you will not be allowed to play in the tournament. Tomorrow is
the annual DECA Dodgeball Tournament. You won't want to miss this
exciting, once a year event. Admission
is only $3. Come out and support your favorite NFL football team as they battle
on the court.

Warriors, did you miss the Informational TSA meeting last week? No
worries, just come to the next TSA meeting this Thursday, October 24th
at 2:25 in Room E6.
Be ready for some thinking as we'll be competing in our first Problem
Solving competition!! See Mr. McMullen for questions.
Calling
all art makers and creators! The Muse literary and arts magazine needs YOUR
art, poetry, and prose. If you don't want to miss being a part of Arapahoe's
only student arts publication, there's no time to lose! To submit your work,
please visit the Muse page under the activities tab on the school website.
Are you
comfortable using technology such as Google Drive and the Science Techbook?
Have you ever helped a friend get connected to wireless? Do you like to help
your fellow students? If so, you might be a perfect candidate for AHS's version
of the Apple Genius Bar. Please see the AHS web page for more
information and a link to the application form. Deadline is November 4th.
Attention all Arapahoe Students . . . we are calling
on you to help others in our community who are in need. October 21-November 1 we will be collecting non-perishable
food for the students and community at Field Elementary. Please help us support
the Food for Field drive by bringing cans or non-perishable food to the boxes
located in each classroom. The winning class will receive a prize. We will also
be hosting a raffle during both lunches.
Please bring two non-perishable items in exchange for a raffle ticket.
The winners of ten Deca Dollars will be announced on Friday the 25th and November 1. Show
your support for the community and make sure to donate!

Athletics
“Pink Cards" for Winter Sports will be distributed in
the Cafeteria tomorrow from 2:15 p.m. - 2:45 p.m. Online registration
must be completed and a current physical must be on file in the Athletic Office
before student-athletes can receive their "Pink Card". Registration is completed
online at www.ahswarriors.org.
Attention
all girls interested in playing basketball this upcoming season. The Girl's
Basketball "Pre-Season" camp begins Wednesday,
October 30th from 2:30-5:00 in
the Auxiliary Gym. Please come and join us to be part of our march to
"March Madness" and a championship. We have four levels to fill, Freshmen,
Sophomore, Junior Varsity and Varsity. So, regardless of your experience level,
you can find a spot to experience the excitement of Arapahoe Lady Hoops! Check

Lady Warrior Lacrosse
Players, It is time to register for spring lacrosse. With our
talented coaching staff and multiple teams, it will be great season. On October
30th at 7 00 p.m. in the AHS
Library, we will hold spring girls lacrosse registration. Come
join us and feel free to check out the
