Muse members: we are having a meeting today after school in C17. This is a
meeting you will definitely not want to miss! And if YOU would like to get
involved in Arapahoe's only literary and arts magazine but aren't looking to
join, Muse needs YOUR submissions! Submit your art, prose, and poetry and be a
part of something awesome. To submit, visit the Muse page on the school website
under the activities tab.
Attention
Warriors! ARE YOU READY FOR SOME DODGEBALL!? Today is the day you've all been
waiting for . . . DECA Dodgeball 2013. The Opening Ceremony begins at 6 p.m. in the Main Gym. Admission is
only $3, so come out and support your favorite NFL team. You won't want to miss
seeing the teacher team, led by team captain, Mr. Trotter. We hope to see
everyone tonight!
Sophomores, don’t forget about the opportunity to take the PLAN,
a practice ACT test, on Saturday, November 2nd! Register in the Guidance
Office now through October 28th. The cost is $15.

worries, just come to the next TSA meeting tomorrow at 2:25 in Room E6. Be ready for some
thinking as we'll be competing in our first Problem Solving competition!!

all art makers and creators! The Muse literary and arts magazine needs YOUR
art, poetry, and prose. If you don't want to miss being a part of Arapahoe's
only student arts publication, there's no time to lose! To submit your work,
please visit the Muse page under the activities tab on the school website.
Are you
comfortable using technology such as Google Drive and the Science Techbook?
Have you ever helped a friend get connected to wireless? Do you like to help
your fellow students? If so, you might be a perfect candidate for AHS's version
of the Apple Genius Bar. Please see the AHS web page for more
information and a link to the application form. Deadline is November 4th.
Attention all Arapahoe Students . . . we are calling
on you to help others in our community who are in need. October 21-November 1 we will be collecting non-perishable
food for the students and community at Field Elementary. Please help us support
the Food for Field drive by bringing cans or non-perishable food to the boxes
located in each classroom. The winning class will receive a prize. We will also
be hosting a raffle during both lunches.
Please bring two non-perishable items in exchange for a raffle ticket.
The winners of ten Deca Dollars will be announced on Friday the 25th and November 1. Show
your support for the community and make sure to donate!

of cold sandwiches, and salads.
Athletics
“Pink Cards" for Winter Sports will be distributed in
the Cafeteria today from 2:15 p.m. - 2:45 p.m. Online registration must
be completed and a current physical must be on file in the Athletic Office
before student-athletes can receive their "Pink Card". Registration is completed
online at www.ahswarriors.org.
Come out
and cheer on the varsity football team on Friday afternoon
vs Chatfield! The Warriors are looking to lock up their second consecutive
conference championship and a home field playoff game! Kick-off is 4:00 pm at JeffCo Stadium. Go Warriors!

all girls interested in playing basketball this upcoming season. The Girl's
Basketball "Pre-Season" camp begins Wednesday,
October 30th from 2:30-5:00 in
the Auxiliary Gym. Please come and join us to be part of our march to
"March Madness" and a championship. We have four levels to fill,
Freshmen, Sophomore, Junior Varsity and Varsity. So, regardless of your
experience level, you can find a spot to experience the excitement of Arapahoe
