through the 26th.
KATIE: Tickets are $5.00 for students, $7.00 for adults, and
senior citizens are free.
JUSTIN: The show starts at 7:00 each night.

Drama
Club is teaming up with Food for Field and will be collecting non-perishable
food items each night of the show.
Due to
an unexpected important meeting, the first TSA Club informational meeting has
been postponed until next Tuesday,
October 15th in Room E6. Please
attend this meeting to find out more about this exciting competition.
A
reminder: The biggest out of state college fair in the Denver Metro area is
happening on
Saturday at Mountain Vista
High School from 10
to 12:30. Plan to attend, talk to college representatives and collect
lots of information.
It’s that time of year
for eligible juniors and seniors to start applying for membership in National
Honor Society! If you are a junior with a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or
higher, or a senior with a cumulative GPA of 3.25 or higher, then you are
eligible to apply for membership. Eligible students should have received
a letter at their home address, inviting them to join and also explaining the
application process. If your GPA makes you eligible for NHS, but you
haven’t received a letter at home, please contact Mr. Smith or Ms. McGeorge in
the science office. This letter also
tells you about important informational meetings that have been going
on this week. If you are applying for membership in NHS, and you
have not attended one of these meetings yet, your MUST attend the meeting after
school today at 2:20 in room W-103. Remember that these meetings are only
for eligible juniors and seniors, so if you are unsure whether you are
eligible, please contact Mr. Smith or Ms. McGeorge in the science office.
Attention Juniors and Seniors! A representative from
Arapahoe Community College will be here today for anyone interested in
taking Concurrent Enrollment classes for 2nd Semester.
This is a great chance to receive high school and college credit. If
interested, please plan on attending a short meeting during either 1st or
2nd lunch in the Forum to receive more information and
paperwork.
The 2013 Stride is
almost here! Run or Walk The Stride 5k or 10k and help support the LPS
Foundation. All proceeds benefit Littleton Public Schools Foundation and
the work they do supporting teachers, students, and staff. Students and staff
we need your help to win the extra participation award. Hurry and get moving
fast to register. Check out www.runthestride.com or register with any Physical Education
Teacher. The race is Sunday, October 27th beginning at Ketring Park @ 8:00 a.m.
Athletics
The
boys Varsity soccer team defeated Mullen in their final home league game
last night 4 -1. Thanks to our fans, spirit squads and varsity girls team for
their support.
Congrats to the boys JV team who defeated Mullen 2 - 0
yesterday.
The Arapahoe Cross Country teams had impressive
finishes in the Centennial League Championships last night at DeKoevend Park.
The girls teams came away with 3rd place finishes in varsity and junior
varsity and a 2nd place finish in the girls open. The boys cross country
team swept all three races yesterday at the League cross country meet. Josh
Barsdley had a 1st place individual finish in the junior varsity race and Dan
McNulty placed 1st in the boys open. What a great way to end the full
team season Running Warriors! Good luck at Regionals next Thursday.
Attention all girls interested in playing
basketball this upcoming season. You are encouraged to attend any and all open gym
opportunities between today and October 29th. Our pre-season "camp" will begin on October 30th and run through November 14th.
