General Announcements

Hey FBLA Members!  There is an important meeting today after school in Room E9 to discuss the District Competition on Tuesday.  Today is the last day that you can complete your online test.  Please stop by Rooms S2 or S3 after today's meeting or check the business department door for available testing times during school hours.

The PSAT results are back. Please come to the Guidance Office to pick up your results if you have not yet done so.

Students with Guidance Center student assistant listed on their current schedule need to check in with Mrs. Lewallen TODAY to get their student assisting schedule set. Mrs. Lewallen is looking forward to seeing you soon.

Hey, Arapahoe!  The Muse has been accepting your fantastic writing and artwork during fall semester, and we are opening a small window of opportunity this spring.  You may still submit work to this year's Muse if you submit it by tomorrow.   You will NOT have another opportunity after the 15th to submit.  Keep it coming!

The next round of club photos for the yearbook will start at 2:30 p.m. tomorrow on the theatre stage. The following clubs are signed up for Thursday -- Figure Skating Club at 2:30, FCA at 2:40, FBLA at 2:50, Winter Percussion at 3:00, TSA Club at 3:10, NBHS at 3:20, Speech and Debate at 3:30, Table Tennis Club at 3:40, and Hike Club at 3:50.  Club members and sponsors: please report to the band hallway 5 - 10 minutes early to get organized, and in case we are ahead of schedule. Thank you!  If your club has not signed up, there is still space available on Thursday, January 15, or on Thursday, February 5.

Hey Warriors!  The 2015 Arapahoe High School Winter Dance, A Night in Lights, is on Saturday night, January 24th, from 7:00-10:00 p.m. in the AHS Cafeteria.  It is semi-formal and is a Sadie Hawkins night where the girls invite the guys!  The cost is $10 per person in advance, and $15 per person at the door.  Tickets go on sale during both lunches, beginning Tuesday January 20th.  This dance is so much fun, you won't want to miss it! 

Athletics

Attention any girl interested in playing soccer for Arapahoe this spring:  We will have a meeting today in N5 at 2:30 p.m.  Attendance is mandatory so if you have a conflict, please see Mr. Bast in the Guidance Department.  Go ABK.

Your Lady Hoops play tonight against Eaglecrest at Arapahoe at 7:00 p.m. Please come out and support them. Go Warriors!

Hey Warriors! The Spear will broadcast the girls basketball game against Eaglecrest at 7:00 p.m. tonight. The link to the Spear can be found on the Arapahoe homepage. In addition, a special passcode and instructions have been sent to your LPS email account! You will need this info to log in and watch the game.

Attention! Any girls interested in playing tennis this spring:  There is a mandatory registration meeting for all girls trying out for the team and their parents on Tuesday, January 20, at 6:00 p.m. in the Forum.
