Congratulations
to all students who competed in the FBLA District Competition yesterday at the
Pepsi Center. 58 students placed in the top five at the competition.
Sophomores,
the Aspire test results are back! Please come to the Guidance Office to pick up
your results.
Hey Warriors! The 2015 Arapahoe High
School Winter Dance, A Night in Lights, is this Saturday
night from 7:00-10:00 p.m. in the AHS Cafeteria. It is
semi-formal and is a Sadie Hawkins night where the girls invite the
guys! The cost is $10 per person in advance, and $15 per person
at the door. Tickets are on sale during both lunches. This dance is
so much fun, you won't want to miss it!
Only Sophomores, Juniors or Seniors may bring a
guest from another school.
Auditions
for the spring musical, Bye
Bye Birdie are coming soon. If you are interested, we need singers,
dancers, actors, and backstage help. Don't sing? No problem. We have several
non-singing roles. Audition information can be found on Mr. Ahern's teacher
page. Sign up to audition in Mr. Ahern or Ms. Parmenter's room

Congratulations
to Unified basketball and cheers for a great game against Chatfield. Aaron Schmidt and Alex Shankle were top
scorers. United Cheers had an awesome
halftime show.
Congratulations to Ella Moynihan for breaking the school record
in the 200 IM last night with a time of 2:05.18! The previous record of 2:07.27
was held by our own coach Laurie, set in 1998.
Congratulations also to our girls Varsity swim team for their win over
Smokey Hill last night. Be sure to come to our next home meet next Tuesday at
4:30 to cheer on the girls against Creek!
Come out and support the boy's and girl's basketball teams at
Smoky Hill for a double header tonight vs Smoky Hill. Girls tip-off at 5:30 pm and
the boys follow at 7:00 pm. Go Warriors!

Warriors! The Spear will broadcast the wrestling dual match against Smoky Hill tomorrow
at 7:00 p.m. That’s also “Senior Night” for the wrestlers. Check the
Arapahoe homepage for the link to the Spear. In addition, a special passcode
and instructions have been sent to your LPS email. You will need this info to
log in and watch the game.
It’s time for the boys swim and dive season! Join us for
the Kick Off meeting tomorrow at 6:00 p.m. in
the Library. Interested swimmers and divers (returning and new) should
plan on attending the kick off meeting. Registration is open so if you
know you’re going to swim or dive, please register before the kickoff
meeting.
There will be a mandatory
meeting for all girls interested in trying out for the AHS girls golf team on Monday, January 27 at
5:30 p.m. in the
Forum. Have at least one parent attend this meeting.
